Well I played both but to be honest I didn't like golden suns because f it's extremely long dialogs. Final Fantasy tactics also has a really slow battle system but it's quite fun in multiplayer. Overall I enjoyed FF tactics alot more.

Final Fantasy is way better. Golden Sun is irritatingly slow.

Not a very good comparison, gameplay-wise...
Story wise, I'm biased towards FFT(not advance, advance's story pales in comparison). Tactics' story is pretty epic.

yeah i bought FFT thinking it would be just an "ok" game. the story though...wow was it well done. i enjoyed to job styles as well. im going to have to go tactics.

the golden suns were great, but i thought the plot lacked any depth. it was mostly "ok, now we need to go to this tower, and do the same thing over. OH NO BOSS BATLLE. ok thats done, time to go to the same towe......

I have Golden Sun: The Lost Age and Final Fantasy Advance Tactics. Both are very good games, but i prefer Final Fantasy. Golden Sun is way too easy (even in hard mode), but really long. Final Fantasy Advance Tactics has way more replay value. The battles last too long though, thats the only thing i dislike with it.
