How do they create pop-up window descriptions like these?

How can they put this when you point your cursor on an image like this?


We can also use some of these in our sites to compete and to help others too!

Upon studying the page source i have found that they use javascript to make those "pop up boxes".

From what i understand, what they do is store each hero description in an array (A variable that can store more than one value) then they have a command which makes a "pointer help" box (pop up box) appear "onmouseover". This means when you move your mouse over the icon, the "pop up box" will appear and inside the box they put in the value stored in the array which in our case is the hero descriptions.

All this code to make to "pop up box" is put in after the url reference for your image.

It looks rather complex when u view the page but if u understand javascript, its quite easy to understand whats going on...

btw if you want to view the page source for yourself then just go to the page and click View -> Page Source or u can alternatively use the shortcut keys ctrl+U ...

And that my friend is how they made the "pop up boxes"...
