An exquisite look at Faceless Void

This is my only good game as Faceless Void. It was 3v3 and I was up against 2 cocky friends and 1 semi-friend. Their first mistake was picking all int. They could of ended the game early (and they would of) if not for our Lina leaving. Everything was pretty slow in the beginning and if you watch closely you'll see me Time Walk a lot for no appearant reason. I was practicing trying to dodge Tinker's missiles >_< Around the time I reached lvl 11 and had my Maelstrom, everything started going better for me. It wasn't until I got my Hyperstone that the killing really started. Our Lina was feeding quite handsomely so he left. The main reason we won was because I had a late game hero and Furion (who was able to push every lane and is quite capable as a DPS hero). I made some nooby moves and barely escaped every gank they made on me (or that I jumped into XD). There are some hilarious moments which are worth watching and it shows a different build to what most Faceless Void users build. I chose the build I had because it fit the situation. So um enjoy

i watched it and the maelstrom/mjollnir money would have been better spent on a battlefury. Also the key to owning with any agility hero or permastunner is getting treads early. you waited till lvl 16 which was a big mistake imo. also with the other team all int diffusal/manta would have been a better orb effect plus 3 voids inside your chrono's dome. you probably should have included at least one basher but the butterfly was a good choice and assualt cuirass didn't hurt either.
Overall i think the game could have been better played and you would have started owning earlier.

I never would of thought of getting a Manta... but Mjollnor is almost like my core item for FV. The illusions don't get my attack speed increase from the items so they wouldn't really do much inside the Chronosphere. Besides, they had spells that targeted more than one person and Leshrac who is a master at AOE. You're right about the treads. I always end up getting treads very late into the game. I decided not to get a basher because it would of just taken up space and an extra 15% chance to bash isn't very helpful. For most of the game it was me vs all 3 of their heroes. Permabash wouldn't have helped at all since all of them can disable me. Faceless is more than capable of permabashing with enough attack speed. I also needed to tank him out due to all of their abilities. I could of always gone lifesteal and BKB, but Mjollnor is much more fun XD It stacks with my Backtrack and evasion (the other ability of Mjollnor), plus the Chain Lightning dealt damage to all their heroes.

your right the illusions wouldn't have been for damage rather mana burn, no mana no aoe spells. I still think that the battle fury would have been a better choice, more damage with 35% damage spill. A lot of the battles against the other 3 they were close enough that they would have taken that 35%. For the situation, the Mjollnor did work fairly well, it just wasn't the best choice IMO. Life steal no because of the manta or mjollnor in your case, but the BKB im suprised you didn't get with so many spells flying around
