need help, how to counter broodmother on a 1vs1 match??

can you help me how to counter or to defeat brood mother?

all my friends and me are finding how to counter brood mother,

because my friend lost on a 1vs1 match, its shadowfiend vs broodmother. [shadowfiend lost]

we're all thinking what's the best hero to defeat brood mother.

i have idea now, can slardar defeat brood mother?

please answer me, if slardar can. what item build? what strategy?

just a simple strategy, if slardar can't, please give me another hero that can defeat brood, thanks..

U need permabash for Arachnia ... try use Troll or Void, U also need dps and Slardar dont have dps but he is good basher too ... I can beat Arachnia with Invoker too ... meteor + deafening blast ... hex + attack ... refresher ... meteor + deafening blast ... hex + attack ... invoke tornado and use ... while Arachnia is in air invoke cold snap use and attack ... Arachnia should be dead ...

invoker?hahaha, a good archnia just eat invoker alive, with only bkb and treads, brood can harass invoker early, i think after you said all the skill of invoker, simple counter, bkb and gem, i think before invoker died, he will use ghost walk so brood need gem,

whats the item build on void?

void can't handle brood on early game, because if void farmed too much, he can be push easy,

whats the item build on troll again?

yah troll can handle brood mother, but what if broodmother push alot?
troll have no AOE to kill all the spiderlings,
if troll blind brood, she can use bkb and fight back on troll, i think troll is permabasher but, if brood goes basher? he can defeat troll.

Earthshaker. if he doesnt push, make him. create a wall of fissure, gather the creeps and/or luckily with some spiderlings. with a blink dagger, echo slam + fissure + enchant totem, should be dead. As in Shimrra_3's broodmother guide, ES IS BM's worst nightmare... you could also try Geomancer. *Maybe Axe. hmph

If its 1on1, I highly suggest buying wards and planting them near her webs. Get a harraser/late gamer like Silencer. Harras the SHIT out of her. Her ulti you say? Buy a diffusal or a TP scroll. Or a guinsoo. Wards, i say. WARDS.

Medusa: Get Lothars and sentry wards and pray that she dosent get a gem ^.^
Go hit-run style Purge hit (brood comes) run
OR

A candidate harasser/late gamer with the option to buy diff blade

Brood users are crazy about their webs =.= get wards as 27Luna said

Axe the X-MAN LOL - more spiders more spin wakakak try to get van as early as possible then try to get another source of damage since Brood would probably atk without the little *ewww* spiders of hers...note images of axe still do helix ^^

Nerubian Assasin - No mana no ulti xD note spiked carapace ^.^ You oso got invis wakakakk

Barathrum - Since you need purge... get it make sure u atk 1st with ur 1st skill ^.^ get some atk boosting item and if your charges of purge are finished upgrade it to manta @.@ your images cant bash but...they got ur 2nd skill + dmg ^.^
the mana burn oso is pretty handy and we all know that lifesteal dont work on images

Gorgon...if she attacks and uses last skill, don'y panic and use your purge,besides, you'll need to buy some wards so that she won't go close and the basic concept is that you are ranged

Axe...she can make cheap shots on you, really! With your counter helix and berseker's call, she'll think first before she attacks. Buy diffusal for the purge xD.

two heroes come to mind - meduse just coz of purge.

and dk.. he can outtank spider. his splash in dragon form kills spiderlings really fast and he can get towers faster than she can.. the ONLY time i lost playing broodmama 1 on 1 was to dk. and he wasnt a better player than me. o yeah he can stun her for 3.75 seconds too.!! lol

a good item counter usable on any hero would be diffusal blade coz u can purge her ulti 10 times..

In an 1v1 match against Broodmother,you have only 3 options to kill her:
1.Deny her ability to atack so she whon't get the insane lifesteal
This sounds hard but its achivable with stunlock(Troll,Bara,Sladar,Void)or masive miss(Panda is the only one capable of doing that)
2.Kill her VEARY fast so that the lifesteal will not be able to save her(Ursa,Yurnero,Luna)
3.Simply purge her ultimate and then she's dead(Medusa,Difusal Blade)

see i dont like BM the ulti gives insane lifesteal so the hero shoudlnt be aloud to have any lifestealing items, just like pudge cant use blink dagger

nah...it would really be 2 easy to kill her.. just diffusal blade, permabash or hex (any1 said that already?) i also wouldn't go with axe...the lifesteal is really too insane as that you do serious damage. better go for Manta with Gorgon...much faster and not so dependent on luck like Counter Helixes (I had a game where i only got about 20...in 40min of game )
