Furions Sprout vs. Dark Seer Vacuum

- Story: I was playing dark seer and ive faced on my lane furion and voljin. knowing Furions Sprout skill (trapping unit with trees for how many seconds) , i have no worries that furion would trap me because of my vacuum skill (pulling enemys to one location with amount of damage) that it also destroys trees once targeted in that area. But what i didnt know is this, they did it furion casted sprout on me, so to avoid being ganked, i casted vacuum on myself to destroy furion's trees, after i cast vaccuum, his sprout did not cancel... ouch, dark seer killed instantly with voljin there (gb) ... I believe this is a bug since furions sprout skill should cancel with vaccuum....

did you destroy sprout trees with vaccume earlier that game and is it possible that in targeting yourself you did more damage than if you say.. targeted one of the trees.

idk, sounds like a bug to me, replay would be helpful but yes vacuum should destroy those trees as the coding is the same as others. still vacuum on yourself would make you die due to witchdoctor stun maledict so its not a great tactic, tango is a better solution.

agree..

b'coz if you vacuum to ur self.. the enemy heroes will be near you..

and you will die of course if there is no other ally heroes...

yes, tango is the best solution...

Dun know about this.. hmm.. but if you have furion enemy, bring lots of tango.. and one more, don't use vacuum in a 2v1 situation.. Bad.. ^_^V,

Where there other creeps there when you vacuumed? Or was it just you trying to vac your self? Idk... could be different in that case...

Hi flodian. with regards to your question:
No.I was using vaccuum on myself because I was just trying to destroy furions trees spawned from sprout . But unfortunately after casting the spell trees from sprout were not destroyed. I am considering this a bug since on natural trees on the map can be destroyed by using vaccuum.


Maybe you can try what im saying by battling furion yourself just to prove my point.

Remember that vacuum destroys tree(s) in the core f its AoE (the blue dot in d middle of its AoE)

if you tageted it incorrectly the tree killing blast range may have missed completely missed the trees and merely sucked a couple of enemies to you.

I just remembered, all the trees that die from vacuum are supposed to be in the center of the target radius thing that pops up. If not, ur just sucking a whole lot of people next to you.

also, when people get sucked, the destroy the trees when moving, just like Barathrum's Greater Bash, where hitted creeps destroy trees when they hit them, same goes with vaccuum, the heroes must hit the trees to get them destroyed or you could also do what FF had said
