How to make Dota fun again

I've been playin for a decent amount of time now but it's starting to lose the fun
any ideas on how to make it come back?
cuz CoD4 is creepin up fast

just take a break,

and get that well earned elite status on cod4, at least it shows something when you do well on COD4

that or take a break playin sumtin else, get bored with that then switch back!

play it with friends,don't be too competitive,take a break from it every now and then,try new heroes,builds,etc

Don't play so often. Try playing other games as well - there's no law that says that if you play DotA then that's all that you must play. Also have games just for fun, where you try weird builds and funny team combos (who knows, you might just discover something new that works quite well). Don't just play to win or lose.

have you tried playing with your friends and set some rules or restictions (like melee vs melee, or mid only)? if you're totally bored, then don't play for awhile until theres a new map. Smile
