I... bored of dota.. what should i do?

i was just play dota for some time and now im bored of it.. it seems that everytime the game goes and choose a hero, i feel the pain, the feel that made me prefer to random cuz i dunno who to use... even when the game has already begun.. still, i dunno what to do with my hero..
anyone with the long experienced player please tell me the solution of this problem..

after about 3months, go back to dota

Most new people in Dota quit immediately because they got their ass kicked alot of times. But I suggest not giving up and practicing with AI till you get better. Then you can start playing with your friends, making it 100 times more fun.

I agree, but if you want to try another game, maybe play something like MapleStory that's like extremely mindless but abnormally addicting... lol PLay that for awhile and come back.

i suggest take a break from it for a week or 2 play some other games then slowly rotate dota back into your weekly gaming rotation like once a week to once a day in the mean time play the most fun game ever Cursor man aka: "small man chases your cursor" i dont no y but its so fun =) (beware the little man is quick like a ninja and can teleport like one too, he also tries to shoot your cursor with rockets o.O) well if you still dont like it play AI till you find a hero that you enjoy playing.

in selecting a hero choose what type first agility / strength / or intelligence.
then pick a subclass like tank, chaser, stunner, nuker, suport
find what you like than find a hero in those categorys that isnt overly difficult and you can get kills with while not being raped, when you find a hero look in the strategy section for item builds and skill builds or devise your own.

i posted a thread like this once thats what i did to solve my problem.

I think you've been owned just kiddin'
It happened to me as well, got bored of dota. I just went driving/strolling my new car, nature guising and anything relaxing like sauna, spa and massage. One week of doing this is really easing.. After that, you'll regain your confidence in dota and you'll miss it for sure.. When you play dota again, -random is a piece of cake for you..

Yeah i got bored of dota as well -.-'' thats why i switch off from wacraft to Call of duty 4 or any fps game. And about the "pain" u feel...yeah..i don't know what your talking about. Maybe u need therapy. Also next time, could you write with sufficient grammar, i can hardly understand what your talking about.

Well...if you're really bored with DotA just quit for a while, then go back. Or make an experiment out of the game.

talk to your friends about dota. it will get you back to it. no kidding. talk about heroes, item builds, hero bugs and whatever, and at the end of the conversation you will know who to use already. i dunno with you but after disscusing with my friends about some heroes, i get a feel to use a hero we just talked about.

LoL a girlfriend!
Play another maps like tower defend, rpg, or a melee. You'll be surprised when you know bout the heroes in melee map. (lvl 10=lvl 6 in dota)
