Vlads is esssential, but vanguard is important, so I'd get both xD

if i had to choose id pick Valds. as it does not lose its effectiveness late game, as much as vangaurd does. altho vanguard provides better protection /regen early game.

he gets bonus damage every hit so every hit he gets more lifesteal

for me...
vlads + lothars > vlads +vanguard.

but for vlads and vanguard.
hmm..

vlads due to his 3rd skill.
it gives ursa a big amount of LS.
so i vote for vlads.

+15% dmg isnt bad to have with ursa..also the lifesteal is very good and you also support you team with vlads...I take vlads (except im against furion/dirge/spider cuz of their summons...)

- make pushing easier.
- make farming faster.
- make roshan bend on his knees faster.
- aura def!

con's
- faster push. faster game. i hate that!
- no regen if no attack.
- no dmg block.

vanguard.
pro's
- 4 hp regen per sec.
- 35? damge block.
- gives hp.

con's
- no lifesteal.
- no aura.


so i pick vlads.^^,
