i would say skadi. but also it depends on the hero u are using and what heroes u are facing
skadi gives u good states, good attack and slow and desolator only damage and reduce armor

Hey, make poll same with the topic!
I would say it's depend on the hero. If it has slow, put deso. If it doesn't put skadi.
But usually I take deso because it cheaper and can be used to FARM and KILL (farm maniac).

well.. one is 7050 and the other 4420... so EoS must be better cause it costs more. However for the money to effect ratio? Well it depends on the hero...think does your hero really need a slow? or do u need more damage.

I think that u don't need some skadi stuff- for example int heroes don't need agi there, or str don't need int... they just waste money for the stats they don't need...

Are you kidding? The intelligence heroes could use the 676 HP Total (425 from Str bonus) not to mention the HP regen. 3.6 is actually pretty good so is 25% attack speed. And the cold just help them get support kills by allowing team members to whack the slowed guy. So, extasy you are deeply mistaken there my friend.

Skadi is a better choice in general. I started getting Skadi for Nevermore and it works wonders. I used to get Desolator but other than his ulti, he has no slows. It is the question of wheather you are gonna stack armor reduction or gonna get slow so that they won't escape. For Slardar, I would opt for Desolator because he got a great slow with a low cooldown besides he is a permabasher who can achieve 522 ms, no one will run from him.

For Kardel, I loe the SnY/Skadi overkill, enemy cant escape

well i can't really tell since items are really situational and depends mainly on the hero using it...

if your a hero who depends on spamming skill and other stat gains well certainly i'll go for skadi but if im a pure damage fast kill hero well hands down ill go for desolator...
