November will be here in 8 months. That means its time for you (and by you, i mean anyone eligible to vote) to pick the right candidate for this nation.

Now in comparison to mr. Dubya, all the candidates (minus huckabee) seem like a viable choice for the presidency. Obama is very eloquent, Clinton has grand solutions, and McCain is a war hero who, despite his talk about 100 years in Iraq, i believe sincerely has this nations well being in his mind.

But the one candidate that no one talks about is Ron Paul. He has a HUGE grassroots following but still gets no media coverage. Now, i could use this post to espouse the magnificence of this man, but i won't because realistically, he is a long shot, and the republicans don't have a big chance to win anyways.

But Dr. Ron Paul has brought up many key issues, such as growing national debt (up to 9.3 TRILLION dollars), our 1 trillion dollar yearly rent on our empire, the unconstitutional war in the middle east and the slow withering of our civil rights.

I highly suggest all of you, before you pick up the game of dota again, to make a conscious effort to make yourself knowledgeable on these issues.

Hopefully the next president will have a sound enough mind to listen to the stifled cries of the American people.

Closed other one in General, told everyone to go to this one. Actually, that will condense all discussion into this one thread instead of two, and you still have people notice it in there. Works well methinks.

As I said there, IMO Florida's votes screwed it up...

Ron Paul i believe is only candidate i 100% trust he would attempt to do what he says.... but i would never vote for him. much of what he says is hearsay for one and his economic polocies would most likely ruin the country. Many leading economists (i have heard) also do not agree with him. The only question i have is what will happen to all the jobs created by the federal agencies (fbi cia irs...) and the pensions and so on and so forth.

As for Obama/Clinton, democrats go against everything that the constitution stands for. In my opinion the recent democratic aim is borderline socialist. Morally democrats are scum and the Clintons are one of the most crooked families in America other than the kennedys (White water). And obama's past is very shady considering his extremist roots and i believe he may be a racist.

I am not a personal fan of Huckabee (fake christian) or Mccain (respect the hell out of him but he is soft) but in this race the best candidate (other than Romney) would be mccain. thats my 2 cents prolly will get flamed for being a republican and a bush supporter and a war supporter but thats my opinion and im sticking to it.

Watching the election campaigns in the US from far away I have a feeling that John McCain would somehow be the star in the coming presidential elections.
