It's not much different than compared to a normal blade mail, but this item does make sense. I like this part:
Taunt (Active)
Pulls off an enemy unit 400 AOE closer to the bearer. The target unit would also attack the bearer for 4 secs. Has a manacost of 100 and a cooldown of 25 secs.
The cooldown should be longer. This item would go great with mjollnir, centaur, nerubian, dirge, nevermore. Not too bad an item suggestion as compared to the other sad ones ==

Well you certainly seem like a breath of fresh air.
Hmmm so, basically an upgrade for blademail... im liking the concept behind it. However it would be imba if equiped on Axe or Centaur IMO.
As rllian said, increase the cd and everyone will be happy

so, it will also return ranged attack damage? So, What we have to do is just keep close to the ranged opponent...
as both of them said, increase the cooldown...
anyway, very nice idea...
