I personally hate building up vanguard, unless I'm playing axe mainly because I don't buy RoH early. I usually start out with 2-3 circlets so I usually end up building bracers.

Lets say Leviathan, . .

Vanguard or Bracer?

(^^,) . . no doubt Bracer! . . but early game i'd rather go for Nulls, . .

Wtf!? Bracer over Vanguard? . . for Levi i meant! . .Kraken Shell , . why? . . (u shud hav known this ./gg)

I am with ~fwii: Vanguard only on certain heroes who I get RoH to start with, generally Circlets->Bracers.
BUT Vanguard is superior nonetheless, however it costs twice as much.

If im using Axe or centaur i choose vanguard thats why in the start of 1v1 game my only items are boots of speed,vanguard and tango

It is a very nice item in early game, giving you HP and stats.
