Eldritch the Acid Mage

Acid Mage
600 range
35-50 damage
STR : 18 + 1.5
AGI : 20 + 1.7
INT : 27 + 2.7
2 armor

Acid Arrow
Elritch fires a certain number of acid arrow at the enemy heroes. Number of arrows and damage will upgrade with each level. Acid Arrow is pure damage. The arrow will attack the first hero in sight. At level 2, it will target 2 hero in 1500 range. At level 3, it will target up to 3 heroes, but if there’s 2, the last arrow will randomly hit one of those two. At level 4, up to 4 target. Will attack the same target if there isn’t any other in range (Like omnislash)
1 : 1 arrow, 40 damage, closest target.
2: 2 arrows
3 : 3 arrows
4 : 4 arrows
Mana : 100/125/150/200
Cooldown : 20
Acid Shield
Elritch creates an Acid shield around him. Any melee hero that tries to attack him receive 10/20/30/40 damage. If the acid shield lose all his hp, the acid spread out in a 600 range and damage enemy units. Damage is pure.
1 : 10 damages/melee attacks, 100 hp, deal 100 damage.
2 : 20 Dmg/Atk, 150 hp, 150 damage
3: 30 Dmg/Atk, 200 hp, 200 dmg
4: 40 Dmg/atk, 250 hp, 250 dmg.
Mana : 150. Cooldown 34.

Increased knowledge
Elritch mastered every spells of his book, and became a feared enemy by the opposing forces.

Acid arrow : Add 20 damage per level (Lvl 4 arrows will deal 100 damages)
Acid Shield : Increase the damage range by 100/level, reduce cooldown by 1 second/level.
Acid Geyser : The Geyser is able to hit 1 more enemy/level. Increases damage by 25/level.

Ultimate : Acid Geyser.
A green geyser comes out of the ground, damaging up to 5 units in his attack range (600). The geyser fires 3/4/5 bursts (1/second), doing 100 damage/acid meteor. Pure damage. Channelling. Works on building, but makes it normal damage.
Cooldown : 180/150/120
Mana : 100/Acid Bursts.

Elritch is a powerful mage. His spells do freaking high damage due to Acid being Pure Damage. But, they all got a long cooldown, but not enough to buy a Refresher. Basically, if he fails at killing the target with his nuke, he’s as good as dead, unless he got items that makes escaping easier (Lothar, guinsoo, etc). He also got a low life gain, so he will most likely be the main target when ganked, and will die first. Paired with Pugna, he’ll be kicking asses. Acid arrow with Banish will damage any unit by a damn lot.
Pro : High damage nuke because of Acid being Pure damage
A good INT gain, makes him have a enough mana.
Good range,
Good damage

Cons : Low hp due to small STR gain.
High cooldown on his spells.
His Ult cost A LOT of mana. A complete ult cost 500 mana, which is a lot even at high level.

Any hero that can mana burn will be a threat to Elritch, since he needs a lot to be able to cast. Quick DPS heroes will eat him if he didn’t farm for hp item (URSA and RIKI comes into mind).

Thanks for rating, if you have any idea, thanks for saying. I’m testing a pure damage hero, and i can’t wait to see what you guys think of it. If you think it’s imba, tell me why, and i’ll do my best to fix it =D

first of all, your base stats are high, while your stat gain per level is low.. balance it..

pure damage is ok? but you have to balance it..

lets do the math here..
Acid Arrows:
4 arrows, 100 pure damage each, deals 400 pure damage if there's only one hero within range. correct?

Acid Shield:
Anti-melee, anti-damage, 250 pure damage.. sorta like Aphotic Shield..

Acid Geyser:
I'm not sure how to get the damage of this but if 5 bursts hits the exact place each burst. it would deal 100 x 5 = 500 pure damage.

So to add all that, you can deal. 400 + 250 + 500 = 1150 to a single target.. For me, thats just fine.. why?

1st skill.
huge mana cost, slow cooldown = split damage.. its ok.. the only thing i don't like is, the long range, its kinda Tinker's rockets, but i'd agree on it if it will only hit visible heroes, i mean if they are within range but in hidden at the fog of war, then those arrows shouldn't hit

2nd skill.
slow cooldown, mana cost is just fine, since aphotic i think cost 100.

3rd skill.
mastery skill??? for acid arrows, its fine..
for acid shield no way.. 100 damage per level? are you kidding?
for acid geyser adds 75 more pure damage.. its ok if it's channeling i guess..

4th skill.
acid geyser.. 5 second channeling spell? is it?
deals 175 x 5 = 875 pure damage..

all in all considering the mastery skill, you could deal more than 1500 of pure damage.. that's not good..

Pros:
High Damaging Skills
Range

Cons:
NO Disables, NO Synergies
Very counterable

If i were you i'd change the acid shield, coz its way too great for dota.. especially the Name, acid + shield or arrows or geyser doesn't give a spark, make a more interesting and cool sounding name..

I agree with tr3ncht0wn. The skills + the mastery bonuses should ramp up better. I mean, you know how much Krobelus' Witchcraft improves her skills? Its like a third stronger or something. Your Acid Arrow gets buffed by a factor of 2.5 ...

The Shield only gets 1 second cooldown off per level of Mastery. Of 34. So it goes from 34 to 30. So?? That needs to be ramped better as well.

1st: kinda like tinker's missles

2nd: aphotic shield, just much better...

3rd: if its 20 dmg increase in arrows per lvl and base arrows is 40, wouldnt that be 120 per arrow at lvl 4 knowledge, thus.... 480 dmg, indirect-cast, nuke. wow

ulti: basically its a channeling poison nova.

OVERALL: like tr3nch, base stats are above average. i dont see any synergies, except the obvious increase knowledge synergy..., which imo shouldnt be considered a synergy, i mean, poison shiled, poison arrows, and poison geyser doesnt seem to synergize.

not talking just to you, but to alot of other ppl who post these ideas, i mean sure your hero has to have a theme, but i dont see why EVERY SINGLE skill must DEFINITELY incorporate it, aka, poison ____, poisonious ______, ____ venom, toxic ______. im kinda sick of it =\
^ sorry if i had to rant about it on your thread but yeah. i hope you can consider it!

All of his damaging skills are pure!!!

Soooo IMBA for me!!

Why? Because its skills make tanking items lose its worth....

And the skill I hate most?

Acid Arrow!!!

This hero can easily kill a hero in just a few shots of this arrow, plus it has a 1500 range of fire!!! And it can also damage up to 100 each arrow when you max out Increased Knowledge.

That's insane. Plus partnered with refresher orb make this hero pure imba.

The other skills are fine but please nerf the first skill...... a bit.... Smile
