Is Jakiro a great farmer and level gapper?

I've been playing as Jakiro lately and I think that he is one of the best farmers in the game and can overlevel most heroes.

Auto Fire is a great farming skill and Dual Breath clears creep waves. Coupled with an item like Shiva's, I've literall faced around 30 creeps and just used Dual Breath and activated Shiva's skill to get all the gold.

I usually end a game with the following items:
-Ring of Bassilus
-Guinsoo's Scythe of Vyse
-Boots of Travel
-Shiva's Guard
-Eye of Skadi
-work my way towards HoT/Orchid's

Excluding the 6th item, that's over 20k gold you know. In a previous games of mine, I bought my ally a Butterfly and another one a HoT (I didn't get Skadi but I got my other items). I know that's "pooling" and whatnot but hey, we were owning anyways .


I've noticed that everytime I play as Jakiro, I'm always atleast 2 levels above everyone else. I may start off being underleveled but I somehow reach the level 20 mark faster than anyone else. Maybe it's my skill! ^_^


Considering all that i've said and done, do you think it would be right to call Jakiro a great farmer?

What's your opinion?

Yeah. Jak's a great farmer! Not as good as ish-kafel, but still good.

Not one my favorite heroes, but when I use 'im I do out level my enemies have gold to boot.

He is more of a pusher than a farmer... But yes, you end up with tons of gold anyway so the name really doesn't matter lol...
As you said, Dual Breath clears creeps almost instantly, and with just one Auto Fire proc, all the wave is yours...

With autofire buffed, he is more dangerous. It so sad that guinsoo is expensive that make him hard to get a kill.
But now I can spam macropyre like chainfrost ^^.

True lol

That's why i rush Guinsoo's lol. Besides RoB, Guinsoo's is my first item. And yeah, Macropyre is SOOOO spammable. Just run into any team fight and cast Macropyre lol.

Had techies as an ally and his 6 second stun with Macropyre owns everything!

So the cooldown is much faster now huh, . .

havent used jakiro yet in the 6.50 changes, . .

but yeah, jakiro is a good pusher and clears creeps waves in seconds and can harass with spammable skills and passive auto fire.

Hoestly I still feel that Auto fire is shit. If you spam dual breath you'll push far and combined with auto fire you'll push even further. Jakiro isn't suited to be in a solo lane but rather in a dual lane so you can combo some skills. A Perfrect dual breath + icepath combined with an allies nuke is often a guaranteed kill. Jakrio is no farmer, his purpuse in team battles is to spam his spells and since you'll only be doing that you'll only need little items to allow you to continue spamming. I move lane to lane to use the ice path + dual breath combo to help my allies get kills and I simply don't have time to go farming.

Jakiro Rockz, if u get solo lane vs 2 melee then u got lucky. Cause vs melee u pwn with auto fire and dual breath!!!!

Jakiro is a good farmer indeed. Rushing large Int items is easy for him and then its even easier to farm.

Jakiro is one of my all time favorites.

Why? With just a couple of Sobi Masks(I always do this, sound stupid but for me is effective) and some Tangoes you can stay at your lane longer than anyone else. His cheap but vey effective fire makes his lane opponent always backed or makes him travel to home frequently resulting to level gap.

At Level 14, Autofire is maxed, all you have to do throw a fire and leave it.

Harasser = True
Farmer/Pusher = True

jakiro is great in farming cause by its auto fire + its dual breath...
just buy perseverance and you can own and farm...^^,

just like invoker...^^

yeah. I find him to be a great farmer. I most oftenly rush Guinsoo for him. Unless my teammate is a disabler of course. I my team has a lot of disablers then I'd go for shivas first. ^_^
