Troll warlord overpowered?

Does anyone else think this hero is ridiculously overpowered?

I played him the other day and was killing people effortlessly.

Ulti -> Attack (5 seconds later they dead).

Only hero that really stands a chance is NA, just grab blademails and own him with nukes.

But I mean, he has very few counters other than that.

There's a very big counter to him and it's called ganking him early. Troll is only imba when allowed to farm so if you gank him early then he won't get his items which means he won't be up to par in late game.

And by the way, I think there is already a thread like this. Use the search tool in the forums and you should get all the info you need. You'll probably find that somebody will lock this very soon.

Ganking him early sounds great in theory but it doesn't really work. If you manage to kill him (he has insane movespeed) he can respawn, and just continue farming.
All ganking does, is slow down his farming.

Unlike most lategamers troll doesn't really need many items to be unstoppable. Maybe just Butterfly/Helm of D./Basher and he's sweet.

You know a hero is imbalanced when the only way to beat him is to contantly gank him at the start until he rage quits.


And by the way, the search tool on this website is awful.
Not only does it rarely show relevant results, it's slow enough to lead me to believe this site is hosted on Chinese dialup.

every hero is more or less balanced since dota is a well known game and has been fixed and tried to be balanced several times.

a hero that is thought to be super inba can be because of a few reasons.
either he is
over fed
farmed too much.
not killed at all during early and mid game
enemy is too noob
or just no one denies him and he gains levels too quickly.

all this will lead him to be too powerful for most heros unless he is ganked and disabled/ stunned.

There are many counters:
-Ganking him early. This sentence is incomplete, should be: gank him early and keep on ganking him to kingdom come.

-Blademails(for some heroes anyway)

-Darkterror/Clinkz/Mortred/Tiny

-Panda with his evasion and drunken haze

-Constant disabling. Even all that farming can't stop 10 seconds of immobility.

Try it.
Come from behind your target, once he strikes its not possible to kill him.
His Attach Speed plus bashers give him perma-stun, and his blind Pwn "Darkterror/Clinkz/Mortred/Tiny".

+Butters and hyperz and well GG.

You can try using spellcaster that deal heaps of damage all in one shot cos he has low hp, but even then its a small chance.

Disables own Troll. Just having a Rhasta on your team should spell Troll's death if Rhasta hates him that much.

All of the above is true including the overpoweredness but especially including the counters.
