hmm. right then ill get right to it as usual.


when should you decide weather or not to buy BKb(sheepstick? or is sheepstick another item?) or to buy linkens??


ive seen a few players choose BKb over linkens in certain situation's such as a dwarven sniper targetting them ect ect.

another question, my friend using brood other decided to build lifesteal with helm of denominator.
i told him it would overide the orb effect from his ulti and he should get valdimeer's but he said thgeir different orb effects? was i wrong?
broodmother should get valdemerers right? or am i wrong =[


preverance on tide? i wa splaying a game earlier and preverance seemed to work dreams up until i made linkens with it at mid game(fed lots ^^)

about vlads you're right. the lifesteal will override incapacitating bite so you wont get a slow ( i believe thats how it works, you should refer to a table somewhere)

i would recommend getting bkb when the other team has a lot of spells, linkens can only block one so in clashes it wont do very much

and the dwarven sniper situation, i can see that because by the time sniper wants to assasinate a heroe it has most likely already been targeted so linkes will be in cool down while the bkb might still be active

about tide, perseverance is great because it allows the mana regen helps spam gush. i usually make it into battelfury though. it does stack with anchor slam and because it changes your attack animation, your opponent cant tell when you successfully slam them (although thats the least of their problems) and since you have your shell you don't really need the spell block or the 6hp/sec

One, Vlad's is the only lifesteal item you should consider with spider... Reason being, you lose the AWESOME Incapacitating Bite... Miss and slow? Over some 15% lifesteal? come on.
Two, Linken's is usually good to fight of a SINGLE nuke that's getting in your nerves... For example, it won't save you if your enemies are Lina, Pugna and I dunno, some stunner... They'll just trigger it with some shitty skill and pound you... However, if you're getting owned by say, Sven, who relies on the Bolt to keep you still and bash you with GS, then Linken's is a godsend...
Three, Perseverance on Tide OWNS, you just followed into the wrong item... Get Battle Fury, not Linken's...

You were wrong about it not stacking (only coz you mentioned stacking with BM's ulti) but right about getting vlads (although probably not for the reason you think you were right for). HoD stacks with BM's ulti coz her ulti isn't an orb effect lifesteal, but it does not stack with BM's slow orb skill (can't remember the name). In fact I think that her natural orb would override the lifesteal. So with that taken into account, you were right about getting vlads for her as her lifesteal item of choice as that will not be overrided by her orb.

Oh, well then say so the first time. Coz if you read what you wrote then you'll see that it says "orb effect from ulti"
