hi guys i'm kinda new here and i have question and desperately need your help ..
i'm using a mac and i was wondering if there is any ai map for mac coz i've download some maps (with ai and no ai) but the maps just wont load.. maybe the ones i've downloaded are for windows/pc.. the info and the pics for the map is visible but when i choose to cr8 the game it just bounce back to the LAN page.. the same thing happened in the custom game..
well i hope someone can help me with this

If you could tell us what warcraft patch version you're using. Try to rename the AI map file

i've looked in the finder and it seems the version is 1.12,
into what name i should rename the map (the current map name is DotA Allstars v6.51 AIplus 1.52.w3x)

1.12? If your warcraft is 1.12.. geez that's pretty classic dude! I've never been there lolz! Atleast I started playing warcraft 1.18 patch. Go get a version switcher and give it a try.

I'm not sure if it's gonna work on your end coz you're using mac, sorry about that it's a .exe file. It could be ur warcraft version and it's time for you to update it

oops sorry after i get more info from the finder it turns out that my version is v1.20d (TFT), but do i still have to update it?

click bnet, it will do some stuff, but before you get to do anything it starts downloading all the patches you dont have, which should put you up to 1.21 or something. which is the current version. problem solved. but next time you post a topic please be a bit more specific with your forum name. we probably have more topics called HELP than users.

Welcome, the problem is simple to solve, just change the patch. It's easy and it will only take a few minutes. Go to the forums, Search all of them by typing Change Patch/Patch. Simply follow the instructions on the topic and you'll be fine.

I'm glad to know that ur using mac just like ME .. It took me 2 days to complete the proceses. well by the way here's my explanation =]

1.U need to have both Reign of Chaos and The frozen throne updated to 1.21b

2.AI maps are here!!! mytopfile.com

here's version 48 AI http://mytopfiles.com/search.php?page=3&ss=dota+6.48+ai+map

3.while downloading the map open this file: Warcract3->FroZen throne->Map

You'll see many default maps with blankpaper icon.

4. When ur download is done you'll see it's name with blankpaper icon and drag it into the folder (Map).

5. Run ur warcraft and ur done.
