DotBeer v0.9.0

What is DotBeer?

Dotbeer is a program that allows you to manage builds for every hero in DotA. You can easily add/edit/remove skill and item builds. I've included builds for all heroes, so DotBeer is ready to work after download.

Take a look at screenshots. Main window:

You'll find all the information you need about the hero by simply clicking on a portrait. From drop down list "Build by" you can choose, which build you want to view.

You can edit build by right clicking on hero and choose "Edit" from contex menu:

You will see the following window:

Here you can choose to edit skill or item build. Also choose between total cost or recipie cost for an item. To add item/skill write it's name, cost and comment and click Add button. You can also press Enter button on keyboard to add item/skill.

When you are choosing item from drop down list you can type the first few letters from an item name that you are searching, and the list will focus on that item.

If you want to edit skill/item, type the new info, choose item to edit and then click on edit button.

You can also make your own builds. From the top drop down list choose "New Build...". If you want share your build with someone go to Heroes/_side_ folder. Here are builds saved to XML files. Files are named "hero_name by author_name". Simply find your build, copy and send to someone. It would be great if guide makers include in their guides XML files for DotBeer, so everyone would have ready build for hero.

Why use DotBeer?

You have all necessary info about each hero in just one place. You can quickly check item/skill build during the game. DotBeer is especially for everyone who asks "what should I buy?". It's also awsome for people new to DotA, which always don't now what skill take and what items buy.

Info about heroes I've taken from guides posted here . Info about items were taken from DotA site .

- Windows OS
- .NET Framework 2.0
- 1024 x 768 or higher screen resolution
- working PC
