Schoolkids nowadays

One day, a teacher asks a student, "there are 4 birds in a tree. A hunter shoots 1 down. How many are there left?"

The student cleverly replies, "none, as all the birds were scared by the gunshot."

The teacher, impressed by the student, replies, "I was expecting you to say 3. But I like the way you think."

The student then decides to ask the teacher another question, "Teacher, there are 3 women sitting on a bench in the park. All of them hold lollipops in their hands. One of them licks her lollipop, the next one sucks her lollipop, and the last one bites her lollipop. Which out of the three is married?"

The teacher, a married woman herself, replies, "err... The one licking her lollipop?"

The student then replies, "Actually, I was expecting you to say the one wearing a wedding ring. But I like the way you think" Wink
