hey, i love pudge and all of the str type heroes, but it's pretty hard to catch up with heroes that are agi type can anyone help me or even better teach me how to make agility my ally... thx people, btw newbie here... thx.........

travels on pudge not threads.

some agi type hero's move faster naturally, if your concentrating on pudge

theres no challenge if he has treavels.

becasue ROT has a 20% slow and if they get away hook, agi types has low hp base. so its common sense.


also if your still having trouple get

blade of aclarity+robe of the magi= diffusal blade

difusal balde has the purge anility, slowing them by a factor of 5 changing in seconds.

thing is hide at the jungle if you see enemy try to estimate and hook him down.
if successful activate rot then dimember him.
this way you can kill if not. chase him to death!

I'm going to assume that you're not so newb as to not know how recipes work.. ok, so there are three types of footwear in the game, boots of speed, power treads, and boots of travel. Pudge should get boots of travel. Not only does it give you the highest amount of ms bonus of the three options, it also allows you to teleport around the map, making it (IMO) far superior to treads or BoS

The other items used to help you catch up to running enemies are yasha/SnY (which isn't a good item on pudge) or diffusal blade, this was mentioned before. purge is a casted ability that slows enemy units. There are only a few charges on a diffusal blade, and once those are gone you can't purge anymore.

Other than that, just make sure you turn rot on when you're really close to your enemy, this will allow you to slow them down, making it easier to stay with and kill them.

My view about the matter is Pudge is not a chaser hero and does not have any need at all to chase other heroes. All he needs to do is execute his combo and continue rotting while walking alongside the opponent.

Hook->Rot->Dismember->continue rotting

Simple enough, one of the scariest combos if executed properly. Again, view the guide for more info.
