Rikimaru's backstabb..

Is it possible to attack-canceling so that backstabb will be actibated several times by hitting the "s" button, like you can do with bara's greater bash or Jakiro's fireball skill?

If possible, it would look like a real bloody mess! :P

I've HEARD that it can be done, though I've never seen it done and I have no proof. Just tossing it out there that someone said to me that it was possible.

well its possible cause sometimes i cancel my attack and it still gives backstab dmg. but i dont think it will trigger as much as you think.

I've seen it happen once or twice when playing Riki, but none of it was intentional. I suppose, as with anything, that with pratice you'll get better at it. I don't believe in "practice makes perfect" because nobody is perfect, but I do believe in "practice makes better".

Never actually seen this being done but if it could it would be as useless as Ursa's. Just like animation canceling it wont make you attack faster.

It do works, but still, its better to complete the attack

U will lose your invisiblity anyway so why do it?

I've tested a little and noticed that the backstabb damage did not activate on the first hit, but on the second..
In other words i could hit a creep in the back without backstaff-effect, and the hit a hero from front and the effect was there..
So the backstabb skill "charges" up on the first hit..
Could this be a problem of any kind?

It works lol. Tried it out, attacked a creep and pressed "S" right after the blood animation. You still remain invi but its hard to do consecutively becuase you have to issue another attack command. Unlike ursa, where you just spam "S" and the damage from the ulti goes in fast.

yes it would be very hard.

while invisible, riki doesn't auto attack enemies around.
so you will have to press 'A' again on the target to proc a backstab.

and yes the invisibility doesn;t break on the backstab damage.

so your plan with backstab will work but you need to issue a command to attack again, also the enemy would know they are being attacked and taking damage so they might turn around to stop the backstab damage


@simon_rav the easiest way to get a warning without pissing someone off (if you want to do that it's soo easy) is to bump an old thread to the front page for the mods to close it, I recommend saying something along those lines and specifically requesting that Yuki do it. that will work and it is also a rule (unofficially called folechno's rule)
