New Cheating Tactic and What to do?

I know this problem has been previously addressed, but I have to bring it up once more. Over the past week I have noticed on more than one occasion the host of a game tactically lagging the game when they were trying to gank / get a kill or if one of their teammates was getting attacked to get the kill or save the person. When it happens I clearly state "I'm recording this game with fraps and if they do it again I will send it in and get them banned." That will usually stop it all-together but one guy continued to do it so I actually did record it and told him I am sending it in and he lagged the game out completely and everyone left.



My question is, is there a way to send in that footage to people at BNET to actually get that account banned? I'm tired of this crap and it's happened to me three different games. I'm just wondering if anyone knows where to send in the footage or if anyone knows what the host is using to strategically lag the game? If so I could get the site tagged so people know what to look for. Anyway thanks in advance for everyone who can help.

They could just be using a seperate monitor and starting downloads as soon as its done.. there's no way to get it sent in to BNet unless you prepared ahead of time, and got it on hypercam or something, in which case you could send that in possiby, see about getting IP ban.. but I would have to just suggest flaming host and alt+qq. I did it yesterday.

ya I started recording it with Fraps...so I have footage from that. But ya thats what I did I just said I got the footage and I was sending it in to get them banned and they stopped.

he has the footage, he's asking what to do with it so that the user gets banned

I'm not sure, send an email to the tech department or something, mention you have proof of cheating

I'd also send it to the Azeroth Ban List (the bl that people always mention on Bnet East) so the use is banned from there too

ah, i prefer hypercam to fraps.. I just have it running in background, not recording nething, then if I need to, F2 to start/pause

But yeh, If anybody else encounters this, record it, and send it in. Saving replay won't work as well because that skips lag and doesnt show it properly.

This lag shit happened to me too. I posted a topic on it a week ago. If someone could report it and make it stop, I would be realy thankfull.

well, you just need to get proof and report all of them, it's not just a single person, and due to the anonymity of the internet people will be d-bags, nothing you can do about that

Pretty sure you cant get banned for it, unless your using global ban list. thats about all.
