Id be happy to give you my advice marues.

Im thinking about making a guide but I want to focus a lot on video's maybe item stat builds then 3 videos one for each faze of the game showing something going down like early game denieing last hitting and frame stopping it as I go showing what keys were hit to get it done. Also things like ganks and were things went right or how they could have gone wrong and knowing when and where to make a move. More like a powerpoint presentation than a standard guide. I might not have any guide making experience but I sure can make a kick ass powerpoint presentation. My main problem is picking a hero to showcase there combo's. A lot of my favorite hero's are ones that I learned how to use from good guides on here. What do you guys think?

Great idea, go for it. But if you planned on going into new territory like Coco did with lots of screenshots strats, you won't be the first to use vids. (points at Kakee's PL guide and the Lina guide on teh awesomeness pannel)

That in someways is what I'm talking about but instead of just do individual things like how far shadowraze goes in Quale's nevermore bring most of the guide into video and make chapters for different parts or points. Or make just a window with the video while showing the points of whats happening and why streaming next o the video window. Im just throwing idea's out to see what you guys think. In Kakee's PL guide he shows alot great stuff with images that he added text to with paint Im thinking more like that just with video and streaming text or even a voice over to explain things as they happen in real time.

EDIT:
worked more on my DK guide woot! lol, i have 4 items in the item build and 1 skill in the skill build

skill build: Dragon Tail at level 1
item build: BoT, Tangos, Lesser Clarity Potion, and a Scroll of Town Portal are the 4 items

there is a reason for that btw, those are the only things that will always be the same no matter what build you go

one core item and 3 consumables. then in your strategy you have a flexible item build. is clarity worth DK's gold?

claritys are there in case you need it cause you never know...

i once was juggs and i killed a sand king cause i used a clarity and i used blade fury + omnislash :)

Dk does not need clarities unless you use fire breath. Which is quite silly.

what is your skill build? is it:
TAIL
STATS
TAIL
STATS
TAIL

seems ok since dragon tail's mana cost is always 100 MP. clarity only gives 100 MP ...over 30 seconds duration! so thats one clarity potion for one dragon tail. kinda a little hectic though.

@ ghost

i dont like the suggested remake of zeus. the charge skill will be a problem, not a help. i really like static field coz this is zeus' important skill late game. whoever suggested the remake of zeus must stop, or should think something better than that.
