A DotA story - but with your OWN heroes!

Well. Sad as that might be, there's a very slim chance that all those great heroes created here in the Dream Heroes section (as well as those on the Hero Ideas above) will ever feature in a DotA game. As I was designing the story of a DotA game (backed up by a deeper plot, actually), I thought to myself that using pre-existing heroes is all good and fine, but using those that members designed here would be much more original, interesting and overall more rewarding. Therefore, voila! this project came to being. It's not DotA, but it's pretty much the next best thing in seeing your heroes in action.

Now, the story I will handle will be based around a typical 5 on 5 normal game (might add Super Creeps and Item Drop for the heck of it). Therefore, 10 heroes are needed, five Sentinel-aligned heroes for the Night Elf side and five Scourge-aligned heroes for the Undead side. Feel free to submit your heroes - all that is required is that they are made by you. Now I would normally say that each person can submit only one hero, but I'm aware that that might take too long, so submit heroes to your heart's content - if there are ten or more entries, though, I'll try to only use one from each member, usually the best, according to, well, me. The general way I will use your heroes will accord to the Item and Skill builds as well as tactics / strategies you've submitted along with your idea, but if there aren't any or they just don't work with the team, I might change them a bit.

On a side note, you can also submit custom items for this. There is no limit to the number of custom items you can submit for use, and I'll probably end up using as many as I can. When submitting a custom hero / item, please post a link to the original thread. DO NOT post complete hero or item ideas here. Also, I do not set any restrictions, but I do hope that the heroes submitted will be worth it. If I see a hero with FIRST SKILL: OMFGPWNT: DEALS 1000 CHAOS DAMAGE TO ALL ENEMIES IN 1000 AOE, well, don't blame me if I don't use him.

P.S. I understand I'm new here, so there might be a lot of doubt and scepticism cast on my writing skills and my ability / devotion to carry out the project. If you want me to, I'll post an extract with the first parts of the original DotA story I was planning to write, which should clear up the first issue. As for the second one, only time can tell... but then again, what do you have to lose?

These are great! From them, I think the ones I like the most are Raman the Battle Priest and Dane the Dwarven Battlemaster, so if you want to, you can add some information about skill builds, items, strategies etc for them, since I most likely will be using one or both.

I love the idea. im new here too but ive designed 2 and making a third hero idea. but.. they are in the hero idea section and pending.. how do i link to them?
