just asking..i remembered this game..
this is the longest game i've played..
i even had wife and kids in the game

i really don't know why i've played..although obviously i stopped playing it now. Actually i played it for about 7 months.

ye i played a n64 version. and i bought " a wonderful life" on gamecube. was on discount anyway. its not bad... it just gets boring, besides you couldnt do much.

wake up
milk ur cow
eat a herb
check ur chickens for eggs
water ur plants
place eggs-milk inside the store thingy so it gets selled
go to sleep

and maybe buy a new animal once in ahwile

I played the version on the PS2, and it sucked big time.
It loads so slow because of the good 3d graphics. But still, good graphics won't make me play a game that loads slow.

Dunno about the gameboy versions of harvest moon, haven't played a gameboy before.

There's a NDS version for it. I actually like these kinda games coz it's more worth the money buying it. It's way better than normal rpg games like castlevania etc since harvest moon can last forever. I'm not saying castlevania sucks of course. It's one of the most awesome games ever

i dont like castalvania to much myself. i only like "aria of sorrow"on gba.
as for harvest moon. i dont like it due to the fact that it can last forever. not only does it get boring. you also dont have much of a goal to look forward too.
like for instance a game like final fantasy. its not just fun to beat it. getting every aspect out of it like sub bosses-characters-secret weapons-max levels etc etc. its great to do all those things and beat it 100%

of course its fun to start a farm and make abit of money and see ur company grow mith more animals-vegetable's or whatever. but it gets boring in my opinion.

Hahahaha...xD

I've played it and reached about 2 years in that game. I had a wife (that clinic girl) and 2 kids. The game was..well..boring. But I really didn't knew how I got patient and waited for events and the harvest days. I love rainy days there and during winter xD

I played de snes version and obtained the bad ending , also played te gba nds version for a while but never finished one year of work

gameboy version got kinda old fast, fun for the first year and then boring since the days repeated themselves

what version the back to the nature? i have played and im in 2 years, i dont have yet a wife because it is very hard if u choose karen, i have a huge rideable horse, my money is 500k

I have the gameboy version, Friends of Mineral Town

I have 3M money, a wife, a kid, and all animals in Gold state and it's in year 2

i've been playing harvest moon repeatedly for 6 years
