Trust me FF, it's not like we can't speak English. All Pinoys can speak it pretty well. Some just think that they are exclusively amongst Filipinos, so they think it's alright to speak Tagalog. Please state your place of origin in your profiles ok! So they'll know.

No, I'm from South-Africa(thank all that is Orky for Mobile DS; South-African internet rates has to be ten times more expensive here due to our telephone company-Telkom, may they be damned-having a monopoly).
