I've tried writing fanfics but it always comes out differently than how I imagine it an becomes an epic fail. Which is why I always scrap my ideas but this time I'm sticking to one.

I do not post the segements of the story. Insted I just I edit them so you can look at it as a continuos story.

Summer Dragon

A calm not unlike that of what happens before a storm came upon the land. The scenery is peaceful and serene in the desert, no animals are in sight, but at closer inspection one will see the the tracks of an iron clad warrior suddenly stop in the middle of nowhere. These tracks were left by a very special knight, Davion.

A mysterious humanoid creature who's face is hidden behind a hood that seems to absorb light, for his face was unseen even when the glaring sun shone on it. The creature knelt and touched the tracks with hands covered by a guantlet. He then said "blast!, this can't be right?!. How can he have suddenly disappeared? Last time I checked human knights didn't have the ability to fly." He looked around, for he was in a plain wherein you could see for miles away. Then suddenly ,from out of nowhere, a column of flame jutted out from an unknown direction. This flame was no normal flame. It did not singe the body nor any material thing. It singed the soul. Gondar felt as though he was being burnt from the inside out as he backstepped a few feet from his position. just as quickly as the flame erupted. As he dodged, he noticed the flame was coming out of the ground. BOOM, out of the ground was his prey. Gondar, in the calmest manner, threw a shuriken at Davion.

Davion raised his shield to meet the shuriken whilst keeping an eye on his foe. The shuriken flew through the air with blinding speed and imbeded itself in his shield. Davion realizing this was his chance flung himself at Gondar and with all his might swung his sword to ground. Gondar swiftly drew his two curved short swords, finessed the mighty swing with his left and stabbed with his right, all in an instant.
The momentum Davion created with his sword was so strong he couldn't redirect it to hit Gondar nor evade the stab, which went through his armor. Instead his sword hit the ground with such force that it threw both of them upwards. Gondar's speed and agility allowed him to land on his feet whilst Davion crashed to the sand covered ground with a dull thud.

Gondar ,realizing this was his chance, swiftly ran to Davion and stabbed him repeatedly. Gondar's stab was like a rain of steel. Davion could barely keep up. He blocked with his shield, parried with his sword but could not avert all of the stabs.

Davion ,feeling his armor cool enough, breathed another soul burning flame which made Gondar wince in pain. Davion quickly got up jumped as high as his two legs could get him and struck down again but this time with his shield. Gondar was hit squarely on the temple of his head. The effect of his shield bash was devastating, the sound of bone cracking and blood being spilt was but a few of its effects. Gondar fell to the ground and slowly began to turn invisible whilst his green blood drenched the sand.

Davion thinking his foe vanquished, took his armor off and quickly tried to asses his injuries to treat those that might be life threatening. "One, two, three, four......... seventeen. Luckily none hit anything important. I better hurry back and tell them the supply lines have been cleared."

Gondar bloody, bruised and in pain silently crept up in front of Davion ready to strike him with a killing blow. Gondar thought to himself "one stab to the brain and even this warrior will go down".

A volley of arrows coming out of nowhere flew through the air and hit right in front of Davion. Davion ,apathetically, looked in front of him only to find the arrows stopped in midair.

A hooded figure behind ,a hundred feet away from Gondar, shot the arrows. This archer was Alleria The Windrunner. Through a combination of windmagic dexterity and agility she shot exactly 10 arrows in the air which formed a straight line but Gondar was undetered and was still moving perilously close to an armorless knight that seemed utterly exhausted. Alleria realizing her arrows had little effect, drew one arrow and focused all of her windmagic on it. When she shot the magic arrow, it flew through the air and reached the invisible creature with immense speed. Finally Gondar was felled by this mysterious archer.

Davion seemed unphased by all this. He continued cleaning his wounds with his waterskin(water container) and bandaging them. By the time Davion had finished tending to his wounds Alleria was watching him intently. "You're wounds heal as you clean them. What is the point of this?" said Alleria. Davion replied "My wounds may heal fast but they do not disinfect themselves. Living through stabs, slashes and bludgeonings are useless if I die later due to an infection". Alleria responded "None the less, we need to move to. An important battle is about to ensue." Davion said in a calm and composed manner "We won't make it in time even if we walk 24 hours a day." Silenced enveloped the two whilst Davion was putting his armor back on and cleaning his weapon.

The silence lasted for about 45 minutes. Then Davion stood up and took a small sack out of the sand and pulled out a tent, firewood and flint. Alleria shocked said "Were you planning on missing one of the most important battles of this war from the beggining?! COWARD!!" Davion replied with a calm the likes of which is often used to talk to impatient and questioning children "We have a much more important task to attend to"
