Why isn't slardar used in high level play?

Hi guys,
Currently my favorite hero is Slardar but from what I have noticed in high competitive replays, slardar is never picked. How come pros don't use him? Isn't he a hero that can help gank right at level 7 and is a huge helper in team battles?

yea loda and kwon uses him. he's a good farmer and great killer ( perfect for loda ). and it hardly dies with 522speed, so he can maintain his spree ( usually godlike ). maybe u just havent seen enough replays yet

well only loda that i know picked him a lot. videos on loda using slardar can be found on youtube, IIRC 3

hyhy used him too against KS. he didnt carry, just gt dagger and bracers i thnk.

Slardar is really tough when it comes to 1v1 melee combat.

Like Troll vs Slardar encounters on the river.

stupid thread? and i thought this was a good question..don't be so harsh dude if you think your threads are good stick to them make yourself feel good about your own threads, comment on your "lang kwentang threads" about replays and stuff gusto mo ikaw lang magaling mag post lol mo. ^^
