I second that. Don't think they'll work. Both will override Skadi's orb effect when activated.

It won't work since sirring arrow or glaive of wisdom or moon glive or frost arrow or whatever attack spell that can be auto casted IS ORB EFFECT !

Except for searing arrows. Searing arrows is not an orb effect but a debuff. EoS stacks with searing arrows.

Yukino, searing arrow IS an orb effect. I know it works with EoS, but it is NOT because of searing arrow is not orb effect, but it is because of EoS has either a bug or error or whatever so that sometimes it can work with other orb effect such as searing, helm of dominator, etc. Just try any other orb effect with searing. It WON'T work.

Oops. My bad there. Sorry about that. EoS is the only thing that stacks with searing arrows. >_< I should check things before I say them. O.o

But EoS really is not a bug or error. It's a debuff.

Sorry mod. Nidoking, are you sure EoS is not orb effect if used by range hero? I have tried : EoS stacks with searing. EoS stacks with moon glive. EoS doesn't stack with glaive of wisdom. EoS doesn't stack with impetus. EoS stacks with helm of dominator. EoS doesn't stack with desolator. So I think it is realy something wrong about EoS.

EoS is a debuff when used by a ranged hero. Only by a ranged hero. I tested it and it stacks with searing (I really believe that this is a debuff that overrides orb effects), maim, maelstrom.

Never tested it with lifesteal, however.

So what about this whole talk about you can have "multiple orb items" and choose witch one should be active by "placing" it in the "high priority slot"? I don't get that... Also does Stygian Desolator stack with Searing Arrows? I mean do you get +100dmg per attack (lvl 4 SA) or is it just +60dmg...

For Orb effect questions, check the sticky in the General Discussions Forum

As for Searing arrows + Desolator, you get the bonus damage but no corruption [+100 damage]

If you turn it off, you get corruption and +60 damage.

The +60 damage stays

i'm sure that EoS doesn't work with glaives, if you turn on glaives, you dont get the frost attack, if you turn it off, frost attack occurs, i tried it when i used silence cuz i thought it stacks... hehehe

EoS RANGED only works if:
-Your hero has no other orbs/modifier
-Works with Moon Glaive BUT only ONE unit will be frozen, it's the target that will be frozen
-Works with orb effect items (x-cept Desolator for the reason in WC3 - TFT)
-NW's germinate attack (2nd shot)

EoS Ranged never works when:
-Auto-cast skillz (x-cept BF's 2nd skill)
-Nerub W's germinate 1st attack and others.
-I have no further idea

WC3 - TFT orbs: *-in Dota
Orb of Fire - Splash Damage
*Orb of Frost - Frost Attack (EoS)
*Orb of Corruption - Armor Reduction (Deso)
*Orb of Venom - Slow, DPS (Poison Sting)
Orb of Darkness - Summons Lesser Dark Minion Upon Kill
Orb of Lightning - Purges Target By Chance
Orb of Slow - Drastically Slows Target By Chance
