so, hi guys. vita.nova here again with a new idea that has been working very well for me. i know most of the people know it, but it is actually very usefull.

a game with omniknight:

i started with a crow and a chick (chick for team, crow for myself, you need the crow for yourself) and i went bot, lasthitted till lvl 3 and got my bottle. now the fun started. i pulled the stacked creep camp and got my quelling blade. i went jungling, spamming my heal and everytime my hp/mana was low, my crow came in and gave me the bottle, i healed and gave it back to the crow and the crow went b to base to fill it again.

i got radiance in 18 minutes, while my carry at the bot lane could farm very well.

you can do this on a lot of heroes, pit lord for example.

instead of buying arcane or mass mana items, this suffices for his mana. believe me. you can go straight away for bot and heart.

heroes i tried and it worked well were:

omni
pitlord
rexx (supreme jungler, with this one)
dirge (one word, awesome)

and more to come

so has anyone of you tried this out?

i think the thing with arcane on omni is, it allows you to be more supportive, allowing ally spell casters to be as aggressive as they could. i dislike arcane and prefer a quick guinsoo rush anyway

I get perse instead of arcane for omni and pit. But the idea sounds good.

Yeah the idea sounds pretty good, havent tried it myself. Would only work that well if your jungling though.

An Omniknight as a supporter in a lane instead of jungling is usually a lot better. Omniknight doesn't have to farm that much.

I played a team where omni dewarded top and farmed a quick arcane in jungle and always had a tp for when we ganked od mid. It worked very well.

omni should stay in lane....
come on, if not in pubs, he is a SUPPORT hero.
help the other hero in your team by repel-ing and healing him.

So you are talking about the bottle-crow items?

That is very popular in Pubs around the world(I think) and not advisable for an omni player playing support.

Though I would prefer laning omni rather than jungling. Team needs him.

The idea is good with Bristle.. and lycan sometimes, and if in pubs - nevermore.

You generally dont wann be farming a whole lot with Omni, Pitlord, etc. Your team needs you to support or push. Farming the whole time for your Radiance is a good way to LOSE a game, unless your team can handle it without you.

if you are omni, in lane and your lane gets raped. but your ally can hold the lane, but you will die all the time.

then its wayy better to get bottle + crow and farm your arcane or radi or euls or w/e. you can gang whenever needed. and your ally gets an xp boost



this costs 1000 g. while pers costs more,

your team benefits from it (you bought crow). and its usually more effective.

mmm, your talking about 1 item on 1 hero from a team of 5. Its better for say spectre to get the radience than you while you support. Arcanes new aoe buff makes it even better and a bottle is just as good as long as you dont rune hog, there are other heros which benifit more from runes apart from maybe haste for your aura but thats it.

Omni's partner in a lane shouldnt have a problem, you usually only die to gank combos which involes 2 or more disables, after the first disable you can repel the carry and then they are totally safe from being chain disable and escape easily unless of course you yourself are also disabled.

When i play Omni its abit silly, as i just abuse auras, usually getting vlads to support the team, then AC or Shivas
It makes you a one man pushing machine, its pretty cool
