the roles of heroes

okay, im not sure this is the right place to put this, but i'm new. i think the reason alot of people might build a character wrong is because they do not know his role in the game. i know the roles (dps, tank, support, ganker, etc.) but there are some heroes that i don't know where to place.

anyway, i was wondering if anybody had thought of coming up with a simple list of heroes, and the roles they mainly play. i think it would be extremely helpful to DS users.
