Magyros - The Forbidden Blademaster

Magyros
Forbidden Blademaster
Story: Shunned by a society of corrupt brutes, the youthful blademaster once known as the Magyros the Gory; had escaped the clutches of the burning legion. Seeking a better path of life, Magyros left all of his past behind, except for his blade. Upon many years of his travels, he had caught wind of an unknown race of orc-like beings - the "Lok'Garok". Travelling far and wide, Magyros discovered this long lost race in the smokey wastes of Draenor. Upon meeting them, he discovered the truth about the Dranei and the Lok'Garok. The Dranei were actually a demon race, once controlled by Sargeras, (this is actually true) but their leader rebelled, so in Draenor they stayed - causing the Lok'Garok to be pushed to the brittle edge of extinction. So desperate to evade the wrath of the burning legion, the Dranei mutated the Lok'Garok and created the first Orcs. Although for awhile the Dranei flourished, after the second war, the burning legion was once again angered at the Dranei, and ordered their deaths. Magyros upon receiving that knowledge, wished vengeance upon the evil demons and their forsaken Dranei bretheren, and trained under the wise methods of Lok'Garok shiek "Gan'Azrekk", he joined the ranks of the sentinel to fight against the burning legion (and hopefully kill some Dranei of both causes either way).

Attack Speed: 1.7 | Armor: 2
Ten no Nihonto (N/A)
Ten no Nihonto or Sword of Heaven, is Magyros’ cursed runeblade. Unlike the lich king’s variations, the ancient runeblades are the last caches of power once controlled by the old gods. Grants a chance to deal extra damage per point of strength. Not an orb effect
Level 1 – Grants 10% chance to deal 0.8x of Magyros’ strength in extra damage.
Level 2 – Grants 15% chance to deal 1.0x of Magyros’ strength in extra damage.
Level 3 – Grants 20% chance to deal 1.2x of Magyros’ strength in extra damage.
Level 4 – Grants 25% chance to deal 1.4x of Magyros’ strength in extra damage.
Cooldown: 2
Manacost: N/A
Framework: An opponent hit by Ten no Nihonto will display a red mark on their heads.
Note: The extra damage is extra damage, so this ability will stack with effects such as critical strike.
Valiance Aura (N/A)
Empowering his allies to push themselves to their limits, Magyros’ presence alone has changed the tides of many a battle. Effects player controlled units only (e.g Syllabear's Spirit Bear as well as Syllabear).
Level 1 – 8% extra health.
Level 2 – 10% extra health.
Level 3 – 13% extra health.
Level 4 – 17% extra health.
Cooldown: N/A
Manacost: N/A
Framework: A spiked, dipping red aura.
Note: Originally I was going to have this spells effect as increase for base attributes to allied heroes aoe, but that excluded creeps to help and someone had already used the attribute aura idea.
Forced Combat (F)
Being a warrior of honour, Magyros calls his opponent to engage in a duel to the death, also, once this spell is activated if Demon Soul is not on cooldown, it will activate. During this time, both participants will be able to cast orb spells (e.g Glaives of wisdom) and metamorphosis / selfbuff spells (e.g MoM, AoM buff). Can only be casted on Heroes.
Level 1 – Lasts 3 seconds.
Level 2 – Lasts 4 seconds.
Level 3 – Lasts 5 seconds.
Level 4 – Lasts 6 seconds.
Cooldown: 35 / 30 / 24 / 17
Manacost: 155
Framework: Both participants will face each other, and receive the buff “Forced Combat” which is a minuscule blue dot.
Note: Range is 450.
Demon Soul (D)
Magyros is permanently infused with the relic known as the “Demon Soul” once used to control the red dragon flight. Upon releasing its sacrosanct powers, Magyros gains huge strength and movement speed for a limited amount of time. Lasts 12 seconds.
Level 1 – increases movement speed by 10%, increases Strength by 35.
Level 2 – increases movement speed by 15%, increases Strength by 45.
Level 1 – increases movement speed by 20%, increases Strength by 55.
Aghanims Level – None.
Cooldown: 70
Manacost: 175 / 225 / 275
Framework: Magyros will turn grey, and will grow like avatar.
Note: This ability may seem very OP, but check its lasting time
Introduction – Why Magyros?
Magyros is an invincible close ranged late gamer, I will explain the use of AoM, BKB and MoM on Magyros later while using Forced Combat.
Pros:
- High STR and STR gain.
- 2nd Highest disable in game
- Invincible in a 1v1 situation
Cons:
- Item Dependant
- Terrible MS
End game dream build:
Armlet of Mordaggin – One of Magyros’ essential items, this allows him to DPS like crazy in the time that he has to kill his opponent!
Mask of Madness – Best item for Magyros, no doubt. You get faster IAS and lifesteal!
Black King Bar – Imagine, you challenge Silencer into battle, activate BKB and no longer will his glaives of Imba-ness plague you!
Monkey King Bar – A great damage item with a powerful mini-stun.
BoT – Best choice for boots, Gives the superior movespeed, quick reaction to enemy movements (etc). I know it is very expensive, but the benefits are excellent.
Heart of Tarrasque – This item is probably one of the most multi-purpose items in the game, almost everyone needs a Heart.
Optional:
Vanguard – This item can replace any of the above (except for boots), it is a very viable option, but it loses its power late game.
Note: In most games, you will never reach this stage before the game ends.
Early game: If you’ve randomed then take boots, tangos and branches, if not only boots, as you are terribly slow. Harass with your forced combat and hopefully get first blood. Once you return to base, take some bracers
Now mid game starts at around level 8, don’t be afraid to use your skills even if it means your allies get the kill, but don’t forget to farm! MAKE SURE YOU TARGET YOUR OPPONENTS SELECTIVELY (e.g go for jin’zakk instead of Tiny)
Late Game, now even balanar fears you – your ulti and items are enough to kill someone in a matter of seconds. But never stop pushing! End the game or the game will end you!!!
Skill Build
- Level 1: Ten no Nihonto
- Level 2: Forced Combat
- Level 3: Ten no Nihonto
- Level 4: Forced Combat
- Level 5: Ten no Nihonto
- Level 6: Demon Soul

1. WTF attackspeed
2. Quite high base stat, but it doesnt matter
3. Mention the exact attackrange (128,100,125,110,etc)
4. Ten No Nihonto seems good... But why pure(it is OP)?
5. Valiance aura increase hp equal to % of max hp, current hp, or else?
Does it affect nonhero unit?
6. This looks like a duel (in dream items)
I dont understand "both participant will be able to cast orb spell"
Does it mean that foe (and you) are unable to cast any spells other than OE spell? What about walking? Attacking?
7. Free AoM + MS... Boring idea... But nice synergy
8. Overall,he is a good OMG strength-based hero, nice syn, and nice concept
9. (Extra) plz review my Virgo...

Who doesn't loves Blademasters? My first hero (Saj'mino) was Blademaster, my beloved Grommash Hellscream was blademaster, I made several of those great warriors. A big plus from the start.
Then "WTF?! STR blademaster?!". Gosh...But I gave you a chance...and I don't regret it. He is balanced well (although I think damage type from 1st skill should be changed to psychical) and his abilities fits the theme, disculing the hp raise aura, but one can be off the theme. Shortly - very good hero. I like your style of "entering", ya know.
Best regards, Genn.
