X Hero Siege

Anyone out there plays this map?

Anyone know of any good resources? I enjoy playing it but I still don't know all the items and heroes and what they do. It's not like DotA where you can lay back and view everything.

Latest version is 3.28 released just last March 13, 2007.

Yeah, donats is back!

And yes I play Hero Siege!

It's X Hero Siege for clarification. (I'm changing the title of this thread.)

I'm playing Random Mode just to get a feel of different heroes. Do you guys know if there's a site anywhere that has the item list or heroes list? It's kinda hard to feel through the game when the ceeps keep coming.

And I'm having a hard time when I play alone. Even in Easy Mode. Those big Darkness waves kill me on one swoop...

TIP:
Get summoner types, beastmaster preferably, best on a solo game wolves and bear first , bear is a giant tank, get hawk right away, it deals large damage, get preferably tomes and pots, no items

Yeah, gotta try that.

As of now the only hero I can effectively use is Hale Magefire, as his Burning Oil and Breath of Fire can quickly sweep waves at level 3.

I wish I had time to actually read all the purchasable items.

I guess I'll just play and read them all in game...

blade master good for a single game too, note that in special events blademaster's windwalk makes him surive best. but still summoners are great at single games,

illidan is the best hero in hero siege. you can earn 1.000.000 gold in special event.

nearly the same with any hero with illusions/AoE spells.
magina is also strong(don't know the name in hero seige), also warden(one who looks like mortred w/out blurr)

avior the walock is the best for me with anubarak there bec. they can summon and when you have archimonde change for avior a tower can't bring you down easily bec. your armor is divine and only chaos damage can hurt you big

X hero siege is a nice game but you really need to spend time on it but the action is really fun. i agree with newbie and SYD.

Hi there, i play x hero siege too. In fact, better at it than dota. IMHO only a handful of heroes can afford to match up to ARTHAS the final boss.

in dota terms:
-'terrorblade'
-'omniknight'
-'enchantress'
-'juggernaut'
-RANGER, she's called Sylvanas Windrunner
-'zeus' aka mountain king
-'bane elemental'

Other heroes can hold out during initial levels, esp summoning heroes like 'beastmaster'/'crystal maiden', but as the game progresses they lose att power cos they depend 2 much on summoning. ARTHAS plus the other bosses can kill all yr summons quickly.

Oh yes, near the bottom right corner there is also a place where u fight all those different monsters to get stats (+100!) or monster items (like this shield that gives u unlimited reincarnation). U also go 2 special arenas 2 fight some bosses 2 get items, if u achieve 2000 kills/80 wave kills, i think.


Abt the darkness waves that kill u easily, if u can farm 5000 gold b4 the 1st wave strikes, u r safe. Go 2 the castle (in the middle), buy an item that lets u summons furblog, use the furblog & keep stomping (hotkey 'T') at them, then they will die quickly. Try it.
