Why do people use Sange and Yasha and Skadi at the same time?

Eye of Skadi and Sange and Yasha doesn't stack.. and we all know that because of sange's maim 10% and eye of skadi's frost attack.. some people think that they do stack because when you have the EoS you cant even see the thing "Orb effect does not stack" em i right?

Then some of the time people use S&Y and MoM or Satanic at the same time!

to all players that uses S&Y and other materials that doesnt stack on it i suggest you only use Yasha.. ^_^

I agree with you that orb effect doesn't stack. But sometimes people just want the 10% increased movement speed given by S&Y. Or sometimes S&Y and EoS used by kardel to get frost attack with normal attack animation. Or any other case is : people has bought S&Y as it is great and quite cheap. Later they need other orb effect as maim no use any longer but they don't willing to sell the S&Y so, simply they put the item with required orb effect on the top left corner item slot and put the other on the bottom right corner to override it.

Lifesteal orb overrides everything, that's why I get stanic even if I already have S&Y. Let's face it, main isn't exactly as useful as lifesteal.

Putting Sange and Yasha with Eye of Skadi in a ranged hero is not a bad idea. The frost stacks with maim since Eye of Skadi ranged is NOT AN ORB EFFECT. It's a debuff, just like bone clinkz' searing arrows.

Putting both on a melee hero is meh.

OMG! EoS is orb effect. You can't combine it with desolator ( orb effect corruption ) or with glive of wisdom (orb effect). By the way, Yukino, what do you mean 'debuff' tq.

Orb effects are your attack. Debuffs are "added" to your attack. Gets? Some orb effects override debuffs (Corruption, Lifesteal), but triggered orb effects (Maelstrom, Sange and Yasha) don't.

Example: Razor with EoS and S&Y. Razor will have frost attack but when the 10% maim is triggered, your attack will only be normal attack + maim.

Edit:
I get it now.
Searing arrows: Toggled orb effect
Soul Assumption, Glaives, Arcane Orb, Frost Arrows, Impetus: Toggled orb effect buff.

Since Warcraft 3 is coded in a way that each attack may only place one debuff per attack, EoS ranged is overriden by the orb effect buffs.

yeah im kinda confuse in Eye of Skadi If you bought the recipe it says "Orb effect does not stack" but when you have it it says nothing o.O
yeah last time i used S&Y with Satanic my attack became normal and never came back to lifesteal T_T and im confused on which item should i sell >.<

oh i see..

how about the.. Satanic or MoM + Skeleton King's Vampiric aura or Naix' feast?? does that Increase the lifesteal of your character?? but i dont believe that it is true >.<

But it said nothing like "Orb effect" something like that >.<

Lifesteal stacks vith vampiric aura and feast.

Why?
Lifesteal is an orb effect.
Feast and Vampiric Aura are auras.
[Feast is a self-aura]

Auras and orb effects stack. [Prescence of the dark lord and corruption]

Auras with different names stack [toughness aura, devotion aura]

Auras with the same name DON'T stack [Rylai's Brilliance aura and ring of basilius' brilliance aura don't stack]
