best item to counter images?

just like the topic says...what is the best item(s) to counter an image based hero like azwraith if you have a bad hero to match up to him with. like lets say you have an intelligence hero with no aoe spells so 10 images coming at you = gg

what items can you get to help you in this situation?

Bloodseeker with battlefury is usually gg images. He kills alot of images with cleave and heals from them with bloodbath. Another way is to use nukers or obsidian's orb, Arcane orb can kill an image with 1 shot.

Right, radiance and area of effect items, like Battle fury, and some healing items, Mekansm for example.

Nope. Gem can't see through illusions.

Radiance is nice, but it's a pain to farm for if you're not good.

EDIT:
Lol. You're using an INT hero with no AoE Spells? Battle Fury would be a waste then. Radiance is your only option.

radiance is not going to save you from 10 lev 25 images plus the real thing. if radiance is all there is then it looks like gg. i was hoping for a real counter but i guess battle fury+radience+hope for the best= gg anyway Sad

another option is to run away till you have a couple of teammates w/ AoE spells with you.

Battlefury is the best. Some even go so far as to stack 2 battlefuries for quick image-cleansing. Arcane orb is the next best but you certainly can't handle so many images alone. Better find some allies to tank some of the image damage while you orb the images away.

Image heroes are not the world. It is very possible to counter them. One is bloodseeker. Another [my suggestion] can be heroes with critical-strike like PA, bounty hunter, naga siren that can take advantage of the critical to wipe out the confusion quickly.

u have 2 harrass such heroes early. Get a bunch of clarities early and WHACK EM BABE.
