Thanks to everyone who read the two previous chapters...And sorry for all the typos...

Last time...

Well everyone died, save for the Izzet prodigy...

Azorius Scandal

After the meeting, Edward resumed his post and went on a research in developing new ways of combat...

"Hmmm...Edward you seem to be busy lately working on some new combat innovations remember wars are not the solutions to everything. Are you sure that you are still in control of your heart, are you doing this because it's the right thing or is it because of avenging your loved one's death? You've become arrogant lately." said Niv-Mizzet.

"The truth is I don't know sir, it's some kind of weird feeling." replied Edward.

"Hmmm...I got just the thing to keep your mind off of that problem, I'll station you on the Grozoth research facility. Problem is, it's a bit far, so be on your way as soon as possible." said the Firemind(you might know who he is)

"I'll be on it right now." Edward replied.

As he was exiting Nivix, he saw an Azorius senator waiting behind a large pillar. At first he took no notice of this, but he saw a Boros legionnaire running towards his direction. This caught his attention and he quickly rushed to the scene. He stood behind another pillar and watch the event from afar.

"Now here's the gold that your boss ordered, but ensure that the captured legionnaire is not out into trial and does not go out to public." said the Boros Legionnaire.

"Bribes are not to be accepted at the Senate of Azor." the senator replied.

"Unfortunately, I wasn't told to take no for an answer." added the legionnaire. And brings out a sword.

The senator quickly accepted the deal. Seeing this, Edward summoned a Petrahydrox and used it as a prism together with some chemicals to imprint the image on a sheet of paper, then he quickly left the scene.

He thought to himself: "If I come back to Nivix, I might get noticed ." so he left the thing as if nothing has happened. Then instead of heading to the research facility directly, he stopped by a library, picked up a lot of books and ordered a weird to carry it. Whenever he can find time to, he spied on the Boros and Azorius. And after months of research, he finally gathered enough evidences against the two guilds. He told an official at the research facility...

"Good work Edward, this kind of scandal should be publicized. Go back to Nivix and inform the Firemind about this." the official said.

Edward quickly rushed to Nivix even though it was stormy, as he was nearing the place a large mutant like beast went down from the sky and tried to ingest him. He evaded it and he casted a lightning spell to fry the creature up, but the lightning was just absorbed by the beast. He summoned a flying weird and ordered it to fly him up in the sky. Then he summoned a negatively charged Boltic Weird and a positively charged one and sent it flying in the storm in order for them to absorb all the lightning. Then, suddenly, the beast went for the weird he was riding, it knocked the weird out and sent Edward free falling from storm level clouds. Edward quickly reacted to this and used magic to compress the air molecules in a tube form and in the middle of the tube of air he made a lightning that went through it and caused the air to propel him upward as he went flying towards the beast, he threw compressed water balls to the beast. But the beast absorbed the blows and sent a big ball of slime towards him, as he was falling down he ordered the Boltic Weirds to magnetize his metal shoes to the tall tower next to them. The beast rushed for him but it was halted as if it bumped into an invisible wall. Edward, for a moment puzzled, realized that it was the negatively charged tower repelled the beast, knowing this he also charged his boots negatively and used the repelling force to jump for the beast. Then as he let himself fall, he added as much positive particles to his insulated metal boots, the result was a lightning that he used to kill the beast who had a negatively charged skin.

When he finally got to the Firemind, he told them about the scandal and the research results...

"Edward, once again I am impressed by your talents, how would you like to be awarded?" said Niv-Mizzet.

"How's about sending me back to the Grozoth Facility?" he replied.

"Deal"

Edward rested for a few days and went on his way to the facility. As he was in the middle of his way, he was attacked by armed men in a dark alley...

When Edward woke up he was in an Azorius court and before him was the Parrun of the guild(forgot his name)...

"This man has seen to much, he must be thrown to the barren mountains in the outskirts of the city." said the Parrun.

"You'll never get away with this!" he replied.

"Oh, but we already had!" then comes morphing out of the dark hall way was the official he reported to...

"Yes, we have gotten away with this scam if you want to call it that way. You see we funded a Simic experiment for them to develop a monstrosity that will help us take over the city! Now clap him in irons that are magic resistant, so he cannot use any of his tricks." said the official.

After a few hours he was sent to the mountains, and was chained inside a cave...
