Hood of Defiance - Attributes
Price: 2350
Requires:
Planeswalker`s Cloak
Helm of Iron Will
2x Ring of Regeneration or Ring of Health


Gives:
+30% spell reduction
+8 hp regen



Helm of Iron Will
Price: 950
Gives:
+5 armor and +3 hp regen/sec.

2x Ring of Regeneration
Price: 275
Gives:
+2 hp/sec regen. x 2

Planeswalker`s Cloak
Price: 650
Gives:
+15% spell resistance


That should give you + 7 hp/sec regen and +5 armor + 15% before the receipe. After buying the receipe, it becomes,
+30% spell reduction
+8 hp regen

What happened to the +5 Armor? Did it become the +15% more spell reduction? Usually when you buy receipes, you get more upgrades (sange, yasha, buy SNY receipe, you get 5% more on maim, attack / move speed), but no removal of attributes.

Thus shouldn't the benefits be
+30% spell reduction
+8 hp regen
+5 Armor

Dude,
Where r u getting that +15% spell reduction from in so cheap amount?
If u remember b4 HoD Aegis Of Immortal used to do the job of spell reduction, and it was very expensive compared to HoD, Although it used to give u 3 extra lives, but It still was very expensive. And when u get #0% spell block and +8 Hp regen/sec. This thing has to lose some property or increase it's amount to regain it's armor.

Just to avoid that imba, they have'nt increased that armor. It will defend more of spell damage than normal HoD if it get's that armor(approximately 50%)5 armor is a lot of defense. Then Eveyone will go for HoD Against any int hero (except some like enchantress, silencer etc). Thnx

TiP: Making HoD to Viper, Antimage and Pudge, Increases their reduction to spell even more as they themselve have their own spell damage reduction skills.

It is because 30% spell reduction is awesome. Adding the armour would make it even more overpowered. 5 armour is turned into a bonus 15% spell reduction.

The +5 Armor would make it IMBA.

Look at Refresher Orb. It has Oblivion Staff as a recipe [adds 15% ASPD], but does Refresher Orb add ASPD? Nope.

Same thing with Guinsoo.

Hood of GG is really good anyway, Ever seen a rigwal tank all the Lucent beams of eclipse + Illuminate blast + carrion swarm + dual breath + lightning bolt? I did with a hood and my back turned and it simply brought my life down to half.

If HoD had +5 armor effect,it would be the cheapest imba item haha
