Discussion: Vladmir's Offering

Let's have some discussions on the new items in the latest version of DotA. I know a lot of you have already tested these items in your own games, but for discussion's sake, and those still new to the game, let's discuss how they affect the game.

Vladmir's Offering
Gives:
+16% Lifesteal Aura (melee)
+12 damage
+80% Brilliance Aura
+5 Devotion Aura
Requires:
Ring of Basilius (500)
Mask of Death (900)
Vlamir's Offering Recipe (1000)

Here's a few notes on this item:
- Lifesteal Aura stacks with any lifesteal orb item, like Helm of Dominator, Mask of Madness, and Satanic, since this item grants the Aura, not the orb effect.
- Lifesteal Aura stacks with King Leoric's Vampiric Aura and Na'ix's Feast.

So this item basically turns your hero into a Skeleton King/Sven hybrid. It's quite cheap for the armor boost and increased mana regen, although Brilliance Aura actually gives off a fixed amount.

IMO, heroes that can use this well are those that are melee, have at least a few spammable skills, and those that need the armor. It would also help if you have Dominated minions that are also melee.

Heroes that come to mind that can use this well:

Aggron Stonebreaker
A lot of people get Ring of Basilius for him, since he's an INT type hero and both melee at the same time. He's already got a good starting armor, 5, so adding the Basilius helps him out a lot and also to be able to regen early game. Upgrading Basilius to Vladmir's Offering is good, as now you can add lifesteal to his survivability, and combined with Bloodlust, he'll be getting life back quickly. Late game, with this item he can tank better, making him a semi-tank and semi-pusher with Multicasted Bloodlust and the Lifesteal Aura.

Rexxar
Ring of Basilius is a great item for him so that he can give the armor bonus to his summoned units. Oh wait, he only has one Quillbeast for battle. But since Satanic is a great item for him, synergizing with his summons, then Helm of Dominator would also be used. So you get to Dominate more creeps and then give them the armor bonus and lifesteal from Vladmir's Offering and you have yourself your own army. Brilliance Aura helps your dominated Centaurs and Furlborgs to regen their mana after they used their Stomp skill, providing more pushing power.

Sven
What's better than stacking Ring of Basilius' Devotion Aura with Sven's Toughness Aura? Stacking more armor of course! Yes, Vladmir's Offering's Devotion Aura stacks directly with Sven's Toughness Aura, giving you virtually a free Platemail. Since you also probably use Mask of Madness for him, its lifesteal will stack with the Lifesteal Aura. Now that makes you even more feared!

Black Arachnia
Of all the pusher heroes, Broodmother uses Vladmir's Offering to its fullest. She spawns a lot of spiders, and giving them all +5 armor is just plain powerful. Unlike Furion and Ezalor, she can use the Lifesteal Aura for herself, making her very potent combined with Incapacitating Bite and Insatiable Hunger. Yes the Lifesteal Aura stacks with her ultimate. Go spiders!

Banehallow
Forget the Brilliance Aura, since he will mostly need the armor bonus and Lifesteal Aura for himself and his wolves. It's not that too much of an impact, but it helps in pushing. Now your wolves won't die too fast.

King Leoric
Like staking Sven's Toughness Aura and Devotion Aura, Leoric's Vampiric Aura and Vladmir's Offering's Lifesteal Aura stack directly. Meaning you get a total of 36% lifesteal, almost as high as Na'ix's. The additional armor makes you an even more powerful tank, and the Brilliance Aura may get you a few extra Storm Bolts as well. Just juicy.

I'm sure some of you could also have ideas to use Vladmir's Offering on other heroes as well, but I think these are the most potent heroes to use them. Post your thoughts. Cool
