both are best horror games for me in pSx but for me its silent hill...

very scary i cant play it at night.. u try heheh

Silent Hill.

RE is more of the looks [ugly monster, surprises]

Silent Hill is more on the psyche aspect. You'll be scared even if nothing appears lol.

agreed!! because silent hill has an scary environment.. especially on the beginning when you have only lighter to brighten your path... ahhh scary..

I couldn't play either of these games at night, but Silent Hill just affects how you feel. Resident Evil is just a game.

Because I liked the part where you were chased by Nemesis.
I have shivers just thinking about it.
And I liked the part when there is something then "gasps" like that.

although i havent played silent hill cause iam more inteerested in RE, i would say RE, just like xemnas eternal says, nemenis puts the shivers, and surprise noise and zombies popping out,

Although RE3 is better, Silent Hill is very stupid, but no offense. It's just that the game starts in the ghost town then it's snowing and all roads are blocked and destroyed. Then, all of the sudden, a cloudy day became so dark to see and monsters began to appear How did that happen??
And there's one thing I hate about this game is everyone you encounter dies even the one you are looking for. And in the final level where the girl and the daugther of the main character merge, it was all an illusion that you're actually dead! Is that fair enough?? I'd say it's sucks..

Do you know what's more scary than these games?

FATAL FRAME 3: The Tormented!!
This game is so frightening, I played it and I slept in 4:30 am and woke up 4:00 pm! It's because I can't remove the face of that ghost who looks just like the girl from GRUDGE 1 & 2! (shivers.....!!!)

Fatal Frame 3 sucks... the first one was much, much better...
And Silent Hill is not stupid... its not about the story with silent hill, its about the atmosphere and getting scared of things that u cant see..
Res evil is just a generic gorfest... although, it is still scary and fun...

Ok.. I admit that Silent Hill is good but the only interesting thing in that game is the sound heard in the radio which means that a monster is approaching. Monsters in that game really pisses me off because they won't give up killing you, especially flying monsters!

nah funny thing happened to me about a year after playing silent hill, i was walking home from school, it was a very snowy day looked like silent hills ash stuff well i keep walking and i hear a faint noise SOUNDED EXACTLY LIKE THE RADIO from silent hill(sum 1 was using a buzz saw on a metal rod for theyre boat) scared the shit out of me cuz i kept walking and it kept getting louder
