Warthog Ragingsnout - The Warfreak

HP Regen: 0.94 | Mana Regen: 0.53
Attack Speed: 1.33 | Armor: 4

Warthog Ragingsnout is the last remaining member of the Ragingsnout clan, a once well-known and one of the most powerful clan of Quilboars. His clan was destroyed one night when an army of Undead attacked their settlement in Razorfen Kraul. Warthog was only a child back then but since he was a Quilboar, and was born and raised a warrior, he fought back against them with his clan. Still the mighty powers of the Scourge proved too strong and his clan mates fell down one by one. Standing on the verge of death, he was saved when his attackers where gunned down by a mysterious dwarf from afar using a weapon he would later know as a, "Gun". This so called mysterious dwarf who he will later call father, raised him as a son and taught him the art of gunnery and marksmanship. He would later use what he learned to fight against the Scourge and find out the truth about what happened on the night of the attack.

Skills

1. Swap Gun (G)


Warthog changes his armed weapon to either of his two prized guns, "My Little Friend", a machinegun and the "Boomstick", a shotgun to suit his current needs.
Level 1 - Increases "My Little Friend's" attack speed by 5% and "Boomstick's" scatter damage by 15%.
Level 2 - Increases "My Little Friend's" attack speed by 10% and "Boomstick's" scatter damage by 25%.
Level 3 - Increases "My Little Friend's" attack speed by 15% and "Boomstick's" damage by 30%.
Level 4 - Increases "My Little Friend's" attack speed by 20% and "Boomstick's" scatter damage by 35%.

Mana Cost: N/A
Cooldown: N/A

Note: Boomstick's AOE is 100 in front of Warthog.

Framework: Similar to how Jahrakal changes his way of attacking except Warthog always stays as range. When Warthog switches to "My Little Friend", it gives him increased attack speed and slightly better range at the cost of decreasing his base damage output while, "Boomstick" gives him a sort-of cleave damage.

2. Fire in the Hole (F)


Warthog throws an explosive that explodes within a number of seconds depending on level. Deals AOE damage. 300 AOE.
Level 1 - Damage deals 250. Explodes within 2.5 seconds. 350 range
Level 2 - Damage deals 300. Explodes within 2.2 seconds.450 range
Level 3 - Damage deals 350. Explodes within 1.8 seconds. 550 range
Level 4 - Damage deals 400. Explodes within 1.5 seconds. 650 range
Mana Cost: 80/90/100/120
Cooldown: 20

Notes: Warthog's nuke and farming skill combined.

3. War Frenzy (R)


Warthog becomes induced with rage and madness depending on how many units he has killed which lasts for 10 seconds. Passive ability.
Level 1 - Warthog gains 10% damage reduction and +25 attack dmg. which triggers when he has killed 3 enemies. Reduces spells and normal damage alike.
Level 2 - Warthog gains 15% damage reduction and +30 attack dmg. which triggers when he has killed 4 enemies. Reduces spells and normal damage alike.
Level 3 - Warthog gains 20% damage reduction and +35 attack dmg. which triggers when he has killed 5 enemies. Reduces spells and normal damage alike.
Level 4 - Warthog gains 25% damage reduction and +40 attack dmg. which triggers when he has killed 6 enemies. Reduces spells and normal damage alike.
Warthog must be the one to deal the last hit to an enemy unit. Kills accumulate so as long as Warthog has killed say, 6 units, skill would trigger. Heroes are counted as units killed.

Cooldown: N/A
Notes: Warthog's protection and at the same time damage boost.

[Edit] Ancient Chainsaw Massacre (H)


Warthog dons in a replica of his former leader's famous leather mask and then takes out a large chainsaw hanging from his back. He then looks for a target and turns on his chainsaw then rushes towards that target in a straight line. He will only stop if he is either killed, his target is killed or if he has managed to hit his target or other units on the straight line. After the attack, this stuns Warthog for 1.5 seconds. 800 range.

Level 1 - Invulnerable to stun or slow effects until Warthog has hit his target. Deals 150 damage plus dismember 50 damage per second for 2 seconds.
Level 2 - Invulnerable to stun or slow effects until Warthog has hit his target. Deals 200 damage plus dismember 60 damage per second for 3 seconds.
Level 3 - Invulnerable to stun or slow effects until Warthog has hit his target. Deals 250 damage plus dismember 70 damage per second for 4 seconds.
Mana Cost: 150
Cooldown: 30

Framework: The rushing skill is like Barathrum's Charge of Darkness where in he accelerates fast towards a target. The acceleration speed of this skill is equal to a Lvl. 4 Charge of Darkness.

Notes: This attack is launched towards a straight line meaning that the first unit Warthog hits would be his target so it's best to first look at your opponent's movements to ensure that this attack would hit. This attack will also hit your ally if he is on that straight line so be careful. Able to cut down trees.

Changelog:
-Edited and lowered boomstick's scatter dmg.
-Lowered Fire in the Hole's dmg.
-Included Boomstick's range
-Included Fire in the Hole's range
-Edited Fire in the Hole killing mechanism

first of glad to see you have read my thingy, unfortunately this is unlikely to be published in its current state.

boomstick needs a nerf while my little friend is fine.

fire in the hole needs a damage nerf

3rd skill is good, no problems

ultimate is reasonable.

Agree with ghost. I need more detail on the explosion skill.. Aoe ect.
Also, what is the aoe on boomstick? War frenzy is an interesting skill but a little counter intuitive, later in the game you will be killing more units very quickly so as you lvl this skill up I would expect more kills to be necissary rather then less, just an observation.

I have included the AOE range of both 1st and 2nd skill.

To getamedog,

I think War Frenzy is fine as it is since it is in during mid to late game where team battles occur. During team battles, most players concentrate on those that would are most dangerous to them, which are heroes. As you said, if I instead increase the no. of kills instead of lowering the kills in War Frenzy, Warthog would be stuck on pushing creeps first before going against a hero. If that happens, he'll likely get killed first. Also, another reason why it is okay as it is, is the 10 secs. duration. It means that even though Warthog has killed more than 3 units., Warfrenzy won't stack until after the 10 secs.

But you have an AOE attack.. Why would you focus on creeps when you can just taget the middle of the battle and kill everything at once. Also with that bomb skill you will be able to kill 10 creeps with on click. Right?

i think 650 range 300 aoe would be more reasonable.

the range would naturally effect how long it took to reach the target.

Oops, your right Ghost. Silly me. getamedog was talking about the AOE and I always keep on thinking and confused it with range. I already listed it on the pending that it's 300 and I forgot to write it here.

first your stats. 7.3 stats. your bomb skill. is quite nice. since it takes a while before it explodes. similiar to torrent. except a bit faster. your damage is good. your ultimate is also well done. your story is cool. your first skill is good. overall well done except for the stats.
