I think basher + hyperstone is better since increasing your attack speed increases your chance to bash within a given time more than getting a second basher (you can do the math on this if you want).

And yes, butterfly + basher is better than hyperstone + basher, but you can get a hyperstone AND a basher for less than the cost of butterfly...my point is to stay on topic and stop trying to act smart by bringing up an alternative option that beats the original choices.

-2x bashers for heroes with no bashing skills
-I recommend no basher for heroes with bashing skills like troll, void, slardar and barathrum.

use the money instead for extra damaging items or +hp/strength items.
