Saving what? Gold?

If about gold is the issue, that will be done in the start to the end.
Because it's hard to start with power items if you do not have a support of a starter item like pow threads, bracers, etc. It will lead you to downfall.

I like to farm and save but i buy my main items first. Like treads, wraith bands, and Helm of dominator. THEN i farm,farm,farm.

it depends on the hero for me.

Most of the time, I get bracers and nulls(usually via chicken/crow), and only start saving for top-tier items after the early game ends. But there are some heroes where I'd save up for an expesive item right away like a Demon Edge or a Relic, and fill up the rest of my slots with branches.
