Prince Kael'thas the Blood Mage

STORY:
After the failure of Illidan Stormrage to destroy the frozen throne, Prince Kael is very dissapointed for his former master, he flees with his breathen from Northerned with a totally despair. But the curse of blood elves had not be dismissed, their thirst of magic become more and more serious day after day, they decided to return to their plague homeland Quel'thalas to find a way to save them, with a little hope. Luckily Northrom found them, and tell them they still have a chance to take their revenge to destroy the frozen throne and rebuild the sunwell by joining the sentinel. Prince Kael, with his new learning spells found from the ancient magic tome which written by his ancestors, ready to uproot the whole scourge army, destroy the frozen throne and banish the Lich King forever from the world, in the name of Quel'thalas.

ROLE:
Blood Mage is powerful disabler with spells that can disturb enemy hero casting spell, and he got a special skill, Spell Steal , I will explain later.

STR: 18 + 2.05
AGL: 15 + 1.45
INT: 20 + 2.75 (Primary attribute)

Range: 600
Base Damage: 40-47
Base Attack Speed: 1.45 sec + 15% IAS from agility
Base Movement Speed: 290
Base Armor: 3
Base Hp: 495
Base Mana: 265
Side:SENTINEL
Voice: Original frozen throne campaign Prince Kael's voice
Attack Animation: Original Blood Mage yellow ball missile

SKILL

DESIRE BURN (hotkey R)
Kael cast a burning spell deep though inside the victim's desire, the victim must use up his magic or his desire will devour him

Description: Cast on a single unit, he will take dmg overtime and every spell he cast under the effect, he will recover 0.5 x mana cost hp per spell (140 mana cost Storm Bolt will recover 70 hp).
Mana Cost: 120/145/170/195
Cooldown: 15/13.5/12/10.5 sec
Duration: 5 sec

Level 1 : 40 dmg/sec
Level 2 : 60 dmg/sec
Level 3 : 80 dmg/sec
Level 4 : 100 dmg/sec

This skill will force the enemy to cast a spell to save himself, let Kael can steal his spell because the enemy wont waste his skill to target creep, he properly will target hero.

HEART CHILL (hotkey T)
Kael transform his hatred and despair in the form of magic, cast on on the victim cause him fell the despair and heart pain just same like Kael

Description: Cast on a single unit, slow down his attack speed and movement speed, reset all spell cooldown except ultimate.
Mana Cost: 110/120/130/140
Cooldown: 15 sec
-25% attack speed and movement speed for all level

Level 1 : reset all spell cooldown except ultimate, slow effect last 3 sec
Level 2 : reset all spell cooldown except ultimate, slow effect last 3.5 sec
Level 3 : reset all spell cooldown except ultimate, slow effect last 4 sec
Level 4 : reset all spell cooldown except ultimate, slow effect last 4.5 sec

SPELL STEAL (hotkey E, can set autocast)
Due to his thirst of magic, Kael can learn a magic very fast, he can remember the spell that the enemies just cast on him, and strike back with the same spell.

Description: When a enemy cast spell on Kael, he can instantly learn this spell and only can use several times, can activate SPELL STEAL even when Prince Kael get stunned but cannot activate when get silenced, SPELL STEAL cannot steal enemy ultimate spell, only can steal one kind of spell until the spell is used up, Kael must activate SPELL STEAL within 3 sec after a spell in cast on him or it will take no effect.
Mana Cost: 75 for all level
Cooldown: 15 sec
Stolen Spell cost 200% mana of the orgininal mana cost of stolen spell

Let say Sven cast a lv3 Storm Bolt on Kael, he can instantly learn this spell by activate Spell Steal, the Storm Bolt icon will appear on the extra empty space on the control bar, damage, spell effect, cooldown and the level of the spell are all same except a greater mana cost and the hotkey is different, it is "D", it cost 140 x 200% = 280 mana

Level 1 : The stolen spell can use up to 1 time
Level 2 : The stolen spell can use up to 2 times
Level 3 : The stolen spell can use up to 3 times
Level 4 : The stolen spell can use up to 4 times

ULTIMATE -- TOME OF BLOOD MAGIC (passive)
Prince Kael had found the secret of magic wrote by his ancestor, which can greatly improve his spell power to eradicate the evil.

Description: Increase the damage and mana cost of DESIRE BURN, the damage is increaed base on Kael's intelligence, increase the slow percentage of HEART CHILL and add on extra ability to SPELL STEAL
Mana Cost: None
Cooldown: None

Level 1 : Increase the dmg done by DESIRE BURN by (0.2 x int)%, mana cost of DESIRE BURN increased by 20, increase HEART CHILL slow percentage by 5%, decrease the mana cost of stolen spell to 150% of the original spell (140 mana cost Storm Bolt when stole, cost only 140 x 150% = 210 mana)
Level 2 : Increase the dmg done by DESIRE BURN by (0.3 x int)%, mana cost of DESIRE BURN increased by 40, increase HEART CHILL slow percentage by 10%, enable Kael steal 2 kinds of spell, the second spell will appear on another empty space with the hotkey "F".
Level 3 : Increase the dmg done by DESIRE BURN by (0.4 x int)%, mana cost of DESIRE BURN increased by 60, increase HEART CHILL slow percentage by 15%, enable Kael learn buff spell when an enemy is buffed within a 600 aoe, Kael will learn the nearer target if more than two enemies are buffed within a 600 aoe. (let say Blood Seeker is buffed with Blood Rage and appear near to Kael, Kael now can learn Blood Rage when he activate Spell Steal)

Calculation: when Kael reach lv 25, his int would be 108 (include the bonus stat), the lv4 Soul Burn does total 500 damage (100x5) and with lv3 Tome of Blood Magic, the bonus damage of Soul Burn is:
500 x (0.4 x 108)%
=500 x (43.2)%
=216
hence, the actual damage would be 500 + 216 = 716
(is it too imba? if target can cast 2 spells with total 400 mana cost, he can recover 200 hp, 716 - 200 = only dmg 516, to get a lv3 Tome of Blood Magic, it oredi come to late game)

Desire Burn + Heart Chill are excellent combo, cast Heart Chill to reset the cooldown then Soul Blaze to nuke, enemy can not cast spell to recover hp.

Get a good nuke skill by Spell Steal, combo with Desire Burn and Heart Chill, can take down an enemy easily

Kael is a versatile spellcaster, he can steal up to 2 kinds of enemy skills, can do various kind of combo

Edit info:
1. Spell Steal now cant steal ulti at all
2. Change the effect of Desire Burn, Heart Chill and Tome of Blood Magic
3. 3rd lv Tome of Blood Magic give Spell Steal a new ability, Kael can learn buff spell when an enemy hero is buffed nearby him

Heart Chill = IMBA. 30% Reduced MS for 7.5 secs for only 155 mana, plus the other effects?

Skills:

1st Skill - Fair enough bec. it does have it's set-backs when used
2nd skill - ok by me but make level 4 last 5 sec since the effect (cooldown effect) should be the same as the effect time since it will cause errors if the effect of (2nd skill) wears of but his skill is cooling down.
3rd skill - ONE WORD... IMBALANCE dude nothing else to say. yes i advice you change this
Ultimate - Its too much needs MAJOR nerfs

dude the fact that he steals spells is too much =_=

try this (been thinking of this for a while for my hero but you can use it)

Its also a spell steal but it steals "buffs"

for a negative buff transfer it to a enemy and a positive buff on your enemy onto you or your team mate...

[got it from spell thief of the human "control magic"]

spell steal is quite unfair! tht mean bloodmage can steal other hero ulti! tht totally bring disadvantage, tht make bloodmage juz like have 2 ulti! the idea is okay!

toyoman: Spell Steal has limited times to use and stolen spell cost more mana (200% then change to 150% with his ulti), i think this should be a balance, anyway, Kael must get hurt by the spell first then he only can steal it.

aarontay91: sry about the cofusing Spell Steal, now it cant steal ulti at all
