A Tale of Two Universes.

My most intruiging concept for a story yet. And the most realistic!

Prologue

“Come here Chris! Look! Quick!”

“Not now Pete. Not now. I am busy. Something import…”

“Forget it. Just come here.”

“Pete, if the results are what I expect, people shall no longer view the Bermuda triangle in the same light. Ever.”

“But my perspective of the Triangle has changed. And yours will too. Please.”

“Aaa well. I am coming. Just a sec.” Then, he motioned to one of his assistants. The assistant nodded. As walked over to the small protrusion Chris was standing on, he was annoyed. Chris sure was persuasive. He had to give one to him. He suspected he had spotted something rare. A dozen sharks or something. But yet, he was intrigued.

As Chris joined Pete on the protrusion, his mouth fell open. He was looking at a marvel worthy of the folklore surrounding Christ. There was a rent in the air. The air around the rent seemed to reflect all light. But a glimpse of the world inside the window was what intrigued him. A whole world lay out. And the world was moving. First rainforests. Then a desert. Then an ocean. It was as if there were watching another world, nay, universe.

And he was the second to witness it. The solar flare had done a lot of damage to the concept of the Universe. A lot!

Chapter One
-------------------------------------------------------------

The elf bowed. “Our scouts report some humans walking into our land. These humans are strangers. They are also powerful. But they lack the skill to use magic. Scouts report that they have a strong sense of magic even though they are unaware of it. They prefer to use their sticks of metal. “

“Are they obeying the terms of our treaty with the Alliance?”

“Yes. They seem to be causing no harm except fro killing on of Dryad’s fawns for food.”

“And that isn’t a breach of the treaty?” roared Furion. He was obviously angry. He had reason to be. He sent the messenger to summon the Alliance for a council meeting. This was a serious issue. He watched the messenger leave and wondered. Wondered whether the Solar Flare was the reason for this.

Chris and Peter had quickly rowed towards the rift with some of their friends. Everyone was awed. They had taken some food with them. And rifles. God knew what awaited them. Chris was the first to enter the rift. It was a different Universe. Where there was air in their universe, here it was mud and trees. The first thing he noticed was the trees. He then helped Peter through. As soon as Peter stepped in, something seemed to awaken in him. Something that had been asleep for decades. He suddenly felt powerful. But the feeling soon passed. The two of them helped the others in with their supplies. It all felt as though it were some dream. It couldn’t be real...

The Alliance had been summoned. They had reached quickly, Furion noted.

dude, this is awesome...u can really create a whole world of possibilities with this...if you really do put your mind to it and work on your concepts like this, you can actually write books, novels, series and a whole assortment of other things....

"two youngsters....discover a new world....travel to it...learn new things...lessons learned...danger...excitement..."

so many things to build off of in just this story alone....

keep workin man u can do it

First I saw Chris and Pete, I thought this wasn't a dota story. Then at last line I saw furion, I read it and "cool" ^^

Fan fic's kinda feeling inactive now that you and Razorfane have both stopped putting stories up for like a week. Continue or Fanfic's gonna die :S

exams... I got exams right now. My brain is overloaded with info. Not at my creative best right now. Have so,me patience. Two more weeks.
