I'm always curious about that armor thingy, does these stack?
Nevermore's presence of d.l + Slardars amplify + venge's terror + styg deso + assault cuirass + alchemist's acid spray(about -39 to -43 armor)

ok now reading all these posts to make it super super easy move your cursor over your armour and it gives you a %damage reduced i.e. 30 armour = 60% +/- so in theory it sounds about a 2:1 ratio so esentially 50 armour is 100% physical damage reduction exclusing extra damages liek crits and bashes. so to make it easy 1 armour = 2% reduced damage then its just math whats 2% of 100? 2 damage reduced. meaning he does 98 damage and so on =)
so Dazzle + assault + weave = 80% damage reduction >=)

I don't understand, some one please explain the actual formula for the reduction. And please give a detailed explanation about it.

your all wrong..... test it, do a lan and get someone with 50 damage to attack you while you have say 20% damage reduction... each succesive point of armor gives a succesively less percent damage decrease.... but, it stacks, it is not total. so... 20% is actually 10% of 50, then 6% of watever is left, then 4% of watever is left after that.... otherwise getting 70% damage reduction would make you near invulnerable. this is also why negative armor gives such messive damage increase.

So, I don't understand what phalankz said but I think it was wrong. So my understanding of how armor works is... at 0 armor, you have 0 damage reduction. At 1 armor, you have 6% damage reduction. At 2 armor, you get 6% reduction, + 6% of the remainder of that, so about 11%. Is that about right?

just curious. where can you get these formulas? this is crazy intriguing to look over...seeing how much math is involved in a simple 1x1.

got that right..
that's not 1 armor = 2%
every increase of armor gives less percentage
(maybe the formula is in marc's post?? don't really know)
oh yes a bit OOT

the armour thing is like a parabulour( is that how u spell it?)like the more armour u have thless it reduces. but i dont get hte EHP thing and btw tiny doesnt really have great armour
