Description:
400 AOE ward that gives you the sight of an enemy hero that has passed through it for 3 seconds. Can be moved with a MS of 315. Lasts 6 mins. Contains 2 charges.

Discussion:

I just wanted to make something that's more on the basic side not like recipe based items that most people seem to be making and l thought this could be useful. it costs as much as the other 2 wards and gives you a bit of both.

When an enemy hero (only the enemy hero not creeps or neutrals,etc), and all its counterparts (such as their chicken, summons, images, etc) enters its AOE it can be seen (even invisible units/heroes) and they will be pointed out with a signal on the mini map (much the same as the signaling from other heroes) and they will be tracked for 3 seconds after they leave the AOE. If they stay in it, they will continue to be seen. And the ward can be used to patrol, follow (like weaver's watcher). BUT before you start screaming IMBA about it's ability to move and see invisible units, it won't be able to detect enemy hero's wards therefore it can be countered by the opposition's sentry wards.

It's uses are early on, it can be set up to see when their chicken is coming and intercept it, lets you know (by signaling) that a gank is gonna happen unless you get the hell out of there(some people dont use their mini map as much as they should so it's newb friendly too) and its obvious reason in that it can be moved and such. I dont think 315 is too fast because weaver's watchers have an incredibly fast ms.

I'm open to criticisms but give me a reason otherwise I won't change anything.

you are worried about me flaming this, it is a decent idea, i would say let it see wards but while it is moving it can't see invisible units.

trigger:ability(passive):effect:truesight:condition:must be standing still

size is small to the extent that i would probably put it on a couple of overused paths in the forest and maybe rosh... although you can't actually ward rosh so i would imagine that this can't go to rosh, just hang around outside.

would it also detect a rune appearing?
that is almost a hero counterpart (can only be used by heroes)

haha thanks for the feedback. Hmm..'enters its AOE it can be seen (even invisible units/heroes)' it can still be seen, just not the wards..otherwise it can just be moved around and thus be used to destroy other wards, which can prove to be Imba..

It can be useful for spying on Rosh, because it would be able to detect an enemy movement as they go into rosh, thus alerting allies to the particular area.

It has a natural vision by itself so I believe it can be used to detect runes if you just place it on it but then again..that's not the point of this ward, you have the basic ward for that =).

yeah but this would ping them, removing the need for you to go look on the map every 2 minutes.

400 aoe isn't big..
but i can still see your balance concerns, still counterable by themselves

the sad and unfortunate truth.

the really annoying thing is you used to see things published that were outstripped by 3-4 dream heroes forum idea but the makers were just far to lazy to go and make them in the hero maker.

and did you really hate keres that much?

Hmm I haven't read this hero yet..
The idea you must be talking about is your item idea (bloodmoon elegance?) where it shoots random lightnings or something, or maybe it was the one where the item had a passive lifesteal but an orb effect, and I was arguing that the item is an orb effect anyway so it doesn't matter whether the lifesteal was an orb effect or not, because the item itself was an orb effect.
Lol One of the two I can't remember, but that was just stupid, and pointless arguing from me...lol sorry about that

About your Keres
your Dark orb 'orbs move at 300 and home indefinitely. ' so that's moving at 300 ms? that's really slow lol..a bit like Necro's heal/damage...just abit slower I think.

And one more thing about your Ethereal...will be take damage from buff placer/orb attacks? like Clink's Fire arrow, Viper's poison attack and others.

I didn't mind the hero, was kind of cool
