I think I meant it as a more offensive opinion than defensive, but if you won't get a basher for void just because you are afraid of getting called a noob, no skill 'haxor omfg alt qq', than would you get a basher for Rylai?? I'm just kinda tired of the fact that the item 'basher' is regarded as a taboo item that most people tend to avoid because the 'norm' is against being 'cheap'..but if lion, tinker gets guinsoo and perma disable you..they regard you as a 'god' and bow down and lick your boots..sad

basher on FV is an item of ur choice, i build it for fun if i'm filthy rich. 25% percent is good enough, 4 hits = at least 1 will bash, so increasing attack sped is an viable option. however, buyin a basher, will increase the percentage of bash so u have more chance every few attacks.

it's mostly based on how u feel like playing him, i mean we have like heroes like slardar which don't have much problem permabashin without basher i think >_<

Basher is not actually my item of choice on FV..I hardly get bashers unless I really want to win or if we're losing early/mid game..
but I condone people who get bashers and abuse people who abuse them because of it..
Basher is not bad because Fv players will normally buy MoM which gives you that needed aspd so instead of compensating with a butterfly (which troll gets, because MoM is useless on him), he is able to spare a slot for bashers.

Sladar isn't as widely known for his bashing abilities rather for his armor reduction capabilities, thus see more desolator on him than bashers..

dark terror:power tread,mask of madness,2x cranium basher,butterfly and buriza-do kyanon
lucifer:boot of travel,battle fury,heart of tarrasque,radiance and refresher orb
