What's the difference of being stunned, freezed, maimed,etc?

what's the difference of the status effects that causes a unit to stop
stun,freeze,maim, being ensnared, asleep, overgrowth, (any other examples?) or any other special conditions.....
I know some of them has effects, or still a chance to attack, but what's the difference?

Stun - You can't attack, move or do anything but wait until the stun effect has worn out.
Freeze (e.g. Rylai's Frostbite) - You can't move, although you can cast certain spells. From experience you can't use dagger or blink.
Maim - Maim is the result of getting attacked by an enemy bearing a Sange. Basically, your movement speed is decreased, that's it. You can still however attack and cast spells.
Ensnare (e.g. Naga Siren's spell) - You can't move, can't blink, can't do anything. The difference with stun is this doesn't deal damage until someone attacks you. I also think that anyone under the Avatar effect can still be trapped.
Asleep (e.g. Naga Siren's Song of the Siren) - This one just puts you to sleep. You can't attack nor cast spells. Similarly, nothing can be done to you by the enemy until you wake up. This is great for team pushes. Atropos's Nightmare puts you to sleep and deals damage. But whoever attacks you will put him under the spell instead and wake you up as a result.
Overgrowth (e.g. Rooftrellen's spell) - Traps multiple targets and deals damage. You can cast any spell except Blink.

Cripple = slows you down for 3 secs. movement decrease depends on the level of the skill.

Ensnare = Renders you immobile. You can still attack and be attacked. You can also cast spells. As far as I know, you can use blink [it is a physical disable]. You can also use nether swap while ensnared.
Entangle [Spirit Bear] = Same as Overgrowth
Cyclone = Renders you immobile. You can't atttack and cast spells, but you are invulnerable until the duration is over.
Hex = Slows you to 100 movespeed. All attacks to you will pass through armor.

Impale - The unit with this buff is invulnerable, but will fly for a second and will land with damage.
Purge - Slows the unit with this buff, and removing buffs currently before this skill was used, except this skill.
Upheaval - Dramatically slows any enemy unit with this buff.
Silence - The units with this buff cannot cast spells.
Decriptify - Slows down the unit with this buff, and becoming etheral. While etheral, the unit cannot be attacked with attacks except magic attacks and spells. While the unit is decreptified, it will take more damage to spells.
Doom - The unit with this buff will gradually lose HP until the buff ends. While doomed, the unit/hero cannot cast spells or use items.

Oh, I got some more!!
Malefice - The unit with this buff will be stunned for every few seconds, until this buff ends or removed.
Poison Sting (Lesale/N'aix) - The unit w/this buff will lose HP per second and will be slown down.
Fatal Bonds - The unit with this buff and other units as well(Allies) will receive some damage (shared).
Grave Chill(Enemy) - This unit is in a state of grave chill. It's attack and movespeed are slowed.
Grave Chill(Visage) - This unit is in a state of grave chill. It's attack and movespeed are increased.
