Alright people, it's that time again. Bard Man now brings you the horrors of The Ravager....

Feared by many, understood by few, the Ravager is an indiviual who has dedicated himself to the service of Erythnul, Deity of Slaughter. Living a life of violence and savagery, the Ravager seeks to spread their god's malignant influence wherever he goes, never resting long in one place lest the forces of good pursue him.
Ravagers who come from the ranks of Fighters and Monks find that the Ravager's offensive capabilities enhance their combat skills, while Wizards, Sorcerers, Clerics, and Druids find that their ability to cause terror in their foes is a useful defensive measure. Ravagers spend much of their time with others of their kinf, roaming the land in small close-knit warbands, striking unsuspecting communities without warning, and retiring back into the wilderness to plan their next terrible raid. Sometimes, the Clergy of Erythnul commands a lone Ravager to undertake some mission or project that obliges the Ravager to join up with other, non-Ravagers. Such alliances are usually temporary and must be managed carefully, lest they lead to quarrels or worse.
All Ravagers are readily Identified by the bizarre and fearsome facial tattoos they wear to mark themselves as Erythnul's instruments.

ok ill try it as i came in second to u i think in bloodcrafts tourny lol so i know u know what u doing.

STORY:

Arakas the ravager seems to always keep to himself praying to his god in obscene silence only stopping to eat or cause malicous chaos to all who stand in his way, Arakas is often seen throwing magic strings at enemies draining them of there strength and willpower or Using his powers over the darkness to devour his enemies or even himself slaughtering them in the process or if he used it on himself he will teleport someplace safe, his most horrifying trait is when he pulls a portion of his gods power through his own soul blasting his enemy with it.


skill one: Widespread Chaos: Arakas sends his magic through a certain amount of enemies and causes them to attack a random unit.
level 1 2 units lasts for 3 attacks
level 2 3 units lasts for 4 attacks
level 3 4 units lasts for 5 attacks
level 4 6 units lasts for 5 seconds
mana cost: 130/140/145/155 Cooldown 13/12/11/10
framework: it will throw a green shadow wave (dazzles heal) but green at an enemy and then they start attacking eachother
NOTES: this skill can also be used on heros but the chain can also affect your own units so it may affect you if your not careful.


Skill Two: Soul Strings: Arakas uses his magic to open a portal in himself causing the twin tounges of hell to sap at two random units feeding the demons power.
level 1 3 seconds 10 mp/hp per sec
level 2 4 seconds 15 mp/hp per sec
level 3 5 seconds 20 mp/hp per sec
level 4 6 seconds 25 mp/hp per sec
mana cost 50/80/130/150 cooldown: 6/8/10/12
Framework A black version of pugnas ult but two of them
NOTES: if one of the cords break both do so thats why its a heal AND a mana drain at once it also costs a good amount of mana until the end it can easily refill itself.


skill three: Shadowport: Arakas used to be an archmage before he embraced his new god and has altered the simple teleport to cast all of his spells when he gets to his destination.
level 1 120 mana cost 60 sec cooldown
level 2 100 mana cost 45 sec cooldown
level 3 80 mana cost 30 sec cooldown
level 4 60 mana cost 15 sec cooldown
framework same as akashas but he raises his hands and casts all of his spells.
NOTES: This spell can teleport anywhere even in spots where prophet cannot but casts all of his spells so if your going for gank you will have to get in first.

ULTIMATE SKILL FOUR: Face of a God: Using his very soul Arakas shows the world what hes made of by releasing an extremely small amount of his gods immense powers.
level 1 lasts 30 seconds 200 hp 200 mp boost and soul strings deals an extra 10 damage
level 2 300 hp 300 mp and widespread chaos gives all the targets +15 damage
level 3 400 hp 400 mp and both bonuses activate with and extra 10 on both of them.
manacost 200/180/160 cooldown 60 seconds at all levels

framework the acolyte will raise his hands in the air casting his spell then he doubles in size
notes: this is basically avatar with spell bonuses instead of spell immunity

My ravager....not yet perfect, but Ill post it anyway. Comment on whats wrong, and Ill try to fix it...


Velyna Swiftbow - The Ravager
Range: 600 | Move Speed: 300
Primary: AGI
Str: 15 + 1 | Agi: 22 + 2.5 | Int: 14 + 1
Damage: 47 - 58 | HP: 435 | Mana: 182
HP Regen: 0.7 | Mana Regen: 0.57
Attack Speed: 1.29 | Armor: 2


Velyna was one of the elite rangers of Quel'thalas, and fought valiantly against the Scourge invasion on her homeland. After the fall of Quel'thalas, she was one of the last survivos of the masakar. She shortly joined the bloodelves, seeking revenge upon the Scourge, but disagreed with Kaels agendas, and so left the bloodelves to their fate, and disapeared from the face of the earth, soon afterwards. 9 years, she was nowhere to be seen, and then, she returned, with powers granted to her by Erythnul, Deity of Slaughter. She covered her face in blood-red tatoos, as a remenant to the Quel'thalas slaughter, and as a warning to the scourge, that she will avenge blood, with blood.


MODEL: Hero will be like Sylvanys Windruner before she became an undead, just with a red cape.



Bloody arrow (B)
Ravages the enemy with arrows, powered by Erythnul, with no effect to the target whatsoever, but that is only an illusion...
Level 1 - Iflicts ravage on enemy. Can stack up to 4 times. Lasts 30 seconds. Casting range of 600.
Level 2 - Iflicts ravage on enemy. Can stack up to 6 times. Lasts 30 seconds. Casting range of 700.
Level 3 - Iflicts ravage on enemy. Can stack up to 8 times. Lasts 30 seconds. Casting range of 800.
Level 4 - Iflicts ravage on enemy. Can stack up to 10 times. Lasts 30 seconds. Casting range of 900.
Mana Cost : 10/10/5/5
Cooldown : 10/7/5/3
Framework : Like the Dark Arrow of DArk RAnger in normal WC just red.
Notes : This skill does nothing, exept it inflicts the Ravaged status, that, also has no effect.


Ravage (R)
The target marked with the sign of Erythnul will suffer excrutiating pain, both in their bodies, as well as in their souls.
Level 1 - For each stack of ravage on a target, inflicts 40 dmg. Casting range of 600. Dispels all positive buffs and ravage on the target.
Level 2 - For each stack of ravage on a target, inflicts 60 dmg. Casting range of 750. Dispels all positive buffs and ravage on the target.
Level 3 - For each stack of ravage on a target, inflicts 80 dmg. Casting range of 900. Dispels all positive buffs and ravage on the target.
Level 4 - For each stack of ravage on a target, inflicts 100 dmg. Casting range of 1150. Dispels all positive buffs and ravage on the target.
Mana Cost : 100/120/140/160
Cooldown : 30/20/20/10
Framework : The tarets gets struck by and efect simmilar to Dooms lvl?death, as much times as there are stacks of ravage on it.



Mark of the ravager (-)
All heroes near the Ravager, even the bravest ones, are struck by incredible fear, that chills them to bone, and makes them unable to oppose the Ravager, while she ters the meat from their bones, and feeds on their fear...
Level 1 - All heroes in a 500 AOE around the ravager get a -3% dmg, while the Ravager gains the dmg they lost, as an increse to her Dmg. Also, decreases the hp regeneration of all heroes in the same AOE by 0.5hp/sec, and increases the ravagers by the same amount. Last 1 more sec after the hero exits the AOE.
Level 2 - All heroes in a 600 AOE around the ravager get a -6% dmg, while the Ravager gains the dmg they lost, as an increse to her Dmg. Also, decreases the hp regeneration of all heroes in the same AOE by 1hp/sec, and increases the ravagers by the same amount. Last 2 more sec after the hero exits the AOE.
Level 3 - All heroes in a 700 AOE around the ravager get a -9% dmg, while the Ravager gains the dmg they lost, as an increse to her Dmg. Also, decreases the hp regeneration of all heroes in the same AOE by 2hp/sec, and increases the ravagers by the same amount. Last 3 more sec after the hero exits the AOE.
Level 4 - All heroes in a 800 AOE around the ravager get a -12% dmg, while the Ravager gains the dmg they lost, as an increse to her Dmg. Also, decreases the hp regeneration of all heroes in the same AOE by 2.5hp/sec, and increases the ravagers by the same amount. Last 4 more sec after the hero exits the AOE.
Mana Cost : n/a
Cooldown : n/a
Framework : A mekansm like aura around the enemy heroes in the AOE, just red.



Power of Erythnul (P)
Erythul increases the Ravagers powers greatly for a short time, but she must pay a dire price for such a favor...
Level 1 - Increases the AOE of Mark of the Ravager to 3000, increases the casting range of both Bloody Arrow, and Ravage to 2000. Increases Velynas attack range to 800. Costs 60% of current hp to cast. Cannot be cast If hp is under 60% of max hp. Gains visibility of invisible heroes in a 3500 AOE. Resets all ability CD, and rendres item granted abillites unusable. Reduces Blood Arrow CD to 2. Reveals you to all enemy heroes, and reveals all enemy heroes to you. Lasts for 10 seconds.
Level 2 - Increases the AOE of Mark of the Ravager to 3500, increases the casting range of both Bloody Arrow, and Ravage to 2500. Increases Velynas attack range to 1000. Costs 50%o f current hp to cast. Cannot be cast If hp is under 50% of max hp. Gains visibility of invisible heroes in a 4000 AOE. Resets all ability CD, and rendres item granted abillites unusable. Reduces Blood Arrow CD to 1. Reveals you to all enemy heroes, and reveals all enemy heroes to you. Lasts for 15 seconds.
Level 3 - Increases the AOE of Mark of the Ravager to 4000, increases the casting range of both Bloody Arrow, and Ravage to 3000. Increases Velynas attack range to 1200. Costs 40% of current hp to cast. Cannot be cast If hp is under 40% of max hp. Gains visibility of invisible heroes in a 4500 AOE. Resets all ability CD, and rendres item granted abillites unusable. Reduces Blood Arrow CD to 0. Reveals you to all enemy heroes, and reveals all enemy heroes to you. Lasts for 20 seconds.
Level 4 - Scepter doesnt improve the ultimate.

Mana Cost : 150/200/250
Cooldown : 90/75/60
Framework : Increases the range of the heroes skills and attack greatly. Blood spils from the hero when he casts it, and red light, simmilar to omniknight purify comes from the sky.

I also made a suggested skill and item build, as well as a strategy for this hero, but is quite long, so I dont know if I should post it here Mad ....someone tell me if I should or shouldnt...

@TheGunslinger: Dude, waaaaaaaay too imba. That ult is too much. I like to shared effect of Bloody Arrow and Ravage. Quick question though: Is Bloody Arrow an Auto-Cast? If so, change it to a non-auto-cast. And also, lower the stack for it a bit or the damage for Ravage.

Blood arrow is autocast, only if the ulti is on, and only on lvl3. But, if you use the autocast, your hits will only stack Ravaged status, and will make no dmg. ^^

I will nerf the ulti a bit, although its not that inba IMO, since the cons are:

-You cant use any items
-All enemy heroes gain visbility of you
-Costs 60/50/40% hp to cast
-Cant cast if hp under 50/40/30% of max

But still, i could lower the range/AOE increse....its is a little imba..

An the ravage...I will nerf it to 40/60/80/100 instead of 60/80/100/120.
But still, its hard to stack the arrow fully, unless your ult is on. SInce CD of the arrow on lvl4 is 3, and the effect lasts 30 sec, it wil lbe hard to stack it 10 times...but its still possible...Ill nerf some things...

EDIT: I nerfed down the range gained by ulti, and its cost. Also, the dmg Ravage does.

It needs nerf....(e.g. the ulti radius is incredibly high....1200...Oo dwarven sniper would probably just keep running away Wink )
but i like the idea of mark of ravager...its probably more balanced if you decrease her regeneration rate by a value per hero which is in range to make her more vulnarable....she is unbeatable in ganks because (e.g. drow and luna attack u...both got 150dmg each so u got 5% of 300 dmg so it is 15...but on lvl 4 its then 20% of 300 which is 60dmg...that is a FREE relic...the regeneration is also too strong in some points...tanks would probably not even notice about losing 3.5regen but an int hero would, so you only have to fear those damage absorbing tanks...and even them you get down with your ravage-nuke

Even before Lordaeron's fall, villages on the outskirts of the kingdom often fell prey to bands of Ravagers looking to spread Erythnul's will. After the death of King Tirinas and the chaos following it, the Ravagers were presented a golden oppurtunity. For three straight days, they raised villages to the ground and slaughtered countless innocents... Most of the blood fell upon the hands of one man. Keldon. One of the most brutal and violent men ever spawned, he is one of few who was raised in the ways of the Ravager. Though to most, he seems no more dangerous then his savage kin, Keldon's utter delight in suffering a blood-shed have made Erythnul smile upon this inhuman being. Though the march of Nher'Zuul brings havoc and death into the world, Erythnul would prefer that it was his warriors spreading it. For this reason, The Many has ordered Keldon to "assist" the Sentinel in the destruction of the Frozen Throne. The Sentinel allow him to assist but they keep a sharp eye on his actions, and with good reason. Erythnul's orders only extended to the destructio of the Frozen Throne. What happens after that is all up to Keldon...








Cut of Cruelty
Ravagers want more then to destroy everything in their path. Torment a Suffering are also on their agenda.


[1] Deals 070 initial damage and 40 damage per second for 4 seconds. Slows enemy by 10% for 3 seconds.
[2] Deals 130 initial damage and 50 damage per second for 4 seconds. Slows enemy by 15% for 3 seconds.
[3] Deals 190 initial damage and 60 damage per second for 4 seconds. Slows enemy by 20% for 3 seconds.
[4] Deals 250 initial damage and 70 damage per second for 4 seconds. Slows enemy by 25% for 3 seconds.


Mana Cost: 90/110/130/150
Cooldown: 16/13/10/7


Visage of Horror
Those marked by Erythnul's power are easily recognized. Their very presence instills an unfathomable fear to those around them.

[1] Reduces enemy defense by 16% within a 350 AoE of Keldon.
[2] Reduces enemy defense by 25% within a 400 AoE of Keldon.
[3] Reduces enemy defense by 34% within a 450 AoE of Keldon.
[4] Reduces enemy defense by 43% within a 500 AoE of Keldon.

Passive





Mutilated Monument
Respect for thew dead... An unknown concept to Ravagers. For them, a slain enemy or ally's corpse is an oppurtunity to show their worth to Erythnul.



[1] Deals 10 Physical Damage per second to all united except Keldon within a 400 AoE. Keldon gains 06% damage for each existing Ward.
[2] Deals 25 Physical Damage per second to all united except Keldon within a 400 AoE. Keldon gains 10% damage for each existing Ward.
[3] Deals 40 Physical Damage per second to all united except Keldon within a 500 AoE. Keldon gains 14% damage for each existing Ward.
[4] Deals 55 Physical Damage per second to all united except Keldon within a 500 AoE. Keldon gains 18% damage for each existing Ward.


Maximum of 6 wards. Must be cast on a Corpse. This hurts allies too.

Mana Cost: 250
Cooldown: 80




Presence of The Many....
Keldon has shown much loyalty to Erythnul through acts of great savagery and brutality. For earning his fickle deities favor, Erythnul has given Keldon permission to call upon a small ammount of godly power, but not without a price...


[1] Deals 60 psysical damage per second to all units within a 600 AoE of Keldon for 10 seconds. If Keldon does not kill a Hero Unit before this spell expires, he losts 80% of his maximum life.
[2] Deals 70 psysical damage per second to all units within a 600 AoE of Keldon for 10 seconds. If Keldon does not kill a Hero Unit before this spell expires, he losts 75% of his maximum life.
[3] Deals 80 psysical damage per second to all units within a 600 AoE of Keldon for 10 seconds. If Keldon does not kill a Hero Unit before this spell expires, he losts 70% of his maximum life.

WARNING: This can kill your allies. Make sure you give them proper warning before activating.

Mana Cost: 280/340/400
Cooldown: 120/110/100




Behold, I have made a DPS hero that puts all others to shame.


Pros:
Stable stat gain
Masssive DPS damage
Armor Destroying Aura
Gank-Repelant

Cons:
Low INT Gain with high mana skills
Ult can easily end up causing self-termination

running with provided story i can make him believe he is a representative of god seeking to purge the people who defy him by bringing back the dead.

Bardman.

1st skill = Shadow Strike.

2nd skill = Nevermores presence of the Dark lored, just in % now. And a little imba too, especialy late game.

3rd skill = ORiginal, I like it. MAx of +108% dmg, but its hard to do that with this spell, so its not imba. -Also, Its multiypurposed. Can be used to masivly deny creeps, or masivly kill enemy creeps. ANd, Btw, you didnt state how long a ward lasts, You could add that.

4th skill = Imba, but in a bad way. AOE dmg to alies/enemies, max 800 on lvl3, and you lose 70& of your helth if you dont kill a hero? Ouch! a little too big of a cost for only 800 dmg that can kill your allies too. Lower it. But this would be goos chasing skill. Btw, is it chanlling? If it is. then change it to non-chanelling.


Just my 2 cents, thats all. ^^

No, Shadow Strike is ranged. Cut of Cruelty is melee.


You mispelled Lord and yea, that was the basic idea. Since all your DPS damage is physical, it can be countered by armor, but if you have an aura destroying your enemies armor, it'll deal plenty of damage regardless.

The wards work like the Brood Mother's webs or like the Eyes of the Forest. No time limiter on them.
If you try to summon more then the maximum number of wards, the earliest one you summon goes bye bye. Also, you forgot harassment on the list of uses for Mutilated Monument.

Of course it's not a channeling spell. It'd be completely useless and suicidal if it was. Keldon has massive DPS, but only one skill that could keep close by and it's not even that good. If more people complain about the ult, Bard Man will change it, but so far, that looks unlikely.
