Well,we can't make a word that sounds Telkom,I mean we can,but it's not usuall.Although we have some words with lk like a lk a,Mi lk a , but they aren't our words.We say it like we write it.Every letter has it's own sound.It's called fonetika.It's really good so you don't have to think how to spell something.If you know to talk you know to write.You can learn srpski in like..a week.

example :
English : Monitor
Japanese : Monitoru
- there's 'u' letter at the end because no word that ended with consonant in Japanese, except consonant n.
or in indonesian?
example :
English : Telephone
Indonesian : Telepon
word's that absorb from other language.
